That arcane scout is pretty good actually but with a few fixes to make it more balanced, like make it targetable and instead of duration, make it travels certain distance like around 600-1000 range
Not every early game item is *supposed* to build into something. Sometimes you're supposed to have to use your brain, take a risk, and choose: "do I want something cheap and useful now, or to buy something that scales better into the lategame, but is weaker or more expensive right now"
@anthonymercuri8885 the thing is that every other boots have upgrade- green boots in boots with drums(forgot their names), arcane boots in greaves, boots of travel in lvl 2 version. The only one without upgrade for late game is this two. When there is late game you trade your only one ms item for something else bc boots give nothing except a little bit of stats or ms.

Fair point, though the BKB-piercing active is what makes it really good regardless if the defensive stats are not useful to your hero, giving you a clearer choice when to upgrade to Abyssal and when to hold onto the Basher. But it can definitely use a different upgrade path just like Blink Daggers received upgrades.
I dont know if it's bugged or intended but that greater Mango once used you will no longer receive level up bonuses or and you cant upgrade your skills.
