This should be of no surprise to anyone. I think he's been letting us know through his role on the Broadway show " Kinky Boots", his gracious acceptance of the many gay participants on Let's Make A Deal, and his very close physical contact and role play with his red- headed co host on that game show during their skits and improv. I feel this may have been the reason for his mental breakdown and his failed marriage to Mylie ( his daughter's mother), the need to come out of the closet. This will not be a shock to most people, he is SO WELL LOVED.
The only surprise are the fools that think there is any such thing. There's 2 (TWO) sexes, Period.
