Tell me about it, I remember dying so many times to it the first time because I kept trying to tank everything instead of just... moving out of the way lol@@davidcazab
I love this song on it's own, but paired up with the boss fight, it's really something else. Him chasing you along the raft, it matching perfectly to the beat of the song is quality stuff. Hope the remake this one someday, or at least bring him back.
This is my favorite piece of music from my favorite game. It's always been a blast to play, even if it's just by myself. I've literally been playing it since I was four. The dark rooms still scare the crap out of me when i'm not expecting them.
This was one of my favorites. The promo trailer for Dreamcast on the demo disc used this, got me hyped to play the game... years later... played through all PSO/U games.
Over 2 decades since I first played through and ripped this for background music and I still love it. A few years later, was gaming and needed something for making a point... I literally used this as the "oh, you f*ed up" music.
Hard boss if you don't play twink while leveling through normal. I mean he's doable but you actually have to know what you're doing and it's about a 10 minute fight. My god, a boss fight that is actually a boss fight.
Gizonde tears through him like nothing else, even as a HUmar who just learned the level 1 version. I beat him in three minutes just by spamming that and using Fluids. His paralysis spike things are super easy if you break a corner one and push to the very edge. The only attack of his that really gave me grief was when he was partially beached and kept stabbing tentacles into you, but having quick access to Dimates made that manageable too.
Funny fact. My first time fighting this boss I got cocky. I tried to do it all at a walk. Which, it turns out was the ideal speed to do this boss at. However, I panicked and started running, which resulted in my death. Very tragic.
De Rol Le is an awesome boss, I’ll say. I had trouble with it originally. And since I’m super rusty after the last time I played it, still kind of hard lol.
Damn, I remember this boss. My brother and I had beaten the Dragon boss and we were feeling confident about facing this boss. I still remember what I said to my brother at the time. "Sure, the dragon could fly, but it was still pretty easy once it landed. Easy enough to trick it. This will be easy." Open mouth, insert foot. We were both HUnters and neither of us bothered with guns of any kind. So when we went into this boss, we went from confident badasses to chickens with our heads cut off. GOD I miss playing this game!
Whyyyyy would you torture yourself like that? Honestly sounds like a good idea though. Im about to go into De Rol Le today with my Lv28 I feel too overpowered with the regular mobs right now.
Daaaamn this was a hard fight with my buddies on the Gamecube. But we didn't give up! Well... maybe after a few more shots and turning up the music volume...
That awkward moment when you're at Level 7 on a team of optimal level characters, they all get K.O.'d and you have no Moon Atomisers on this boss...and yet manage to beat the boss solo. Truly pants shitting.
De Rol Le was always the trickiest boss when starting out with a new character on normal. But if you get some AoE techniques in there it goes down pretty fast. Then try doing it with an android character who can't use techniques! DEfinitely makes you rethink your strategy.
My first ever run through of the game was the Dreamcast version as a HUCast. This fight was absolute hell on earth... er Hell on Ragol. GCN Ver I always play as a FONewearl and this fight isn't so bad anymore so long as I don't take any hits.

For a second boss in the game, he was the most annoying honestly for me. took me about 20 tries to kill him, and i spent a good few hours each time, thats why i never liked caves. annoying enemies, cheap boss
I remember the first time getting here and was like, "THIS IS ONLY THE SECOND BOSS!!! 😱😱
This was a hard boss

De Rol Le's Wild Water Raft Ride.
De Rol Le Credits - "achievement" for completing all of the non-mirror tracks in "Sonic and All-Stars Racing!"
The first time you solo the worm with your force. You celebrate so hard ....
Replayed the game recently, banger song, difficult boss. Love it.
Don't forget to drop a telepipe before boss - You're gunna need it.
Fav boss music. It's the strings that make this pop. ✨

The epitome of epic boss battles.
no one knew what there were in for that first time and found out fast this guy dont mess around
Haven't played this game since I was a kid, but I remember how brutal this boss was. Definitely the point when the game's difficulty spiked.

De Rol Le is one of my favorite video game bosses
Long run tier list of bosses this one might be everyone's favorite once they know
@@only_folls it still kills me that this boss got a pun mention in Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed; beat the game and earn: "De Rol Le Credits"

That said, all that was AFTER I learned him. My first character got pulverized by him like five times before I managed to beat him.

Wait what, walk/run mechanics? Im about to go into it, had no idea.
Who saw the trailer to this game that Sega handed out discs from Dreamcast Magazine? I DID!
This theme sticks.
Man this song JAMS!🎶
ESPECIALLY when I'm battling it out on MTG Arena. Makes the matches SO much more EPIC!👍🏾
Im never tired of listening that beautiful song!
One of the best boss theme in the game
Still my fav boss archetype and Sega knows it's popular. De Rol Le is immortal.
By boss archetype you mean multi-segmented snake/worm like?
@@ikagura trapped on a raft while crazy worm reenacts a SeaWorld escape, yep
De Rol Le is an awesome boss, I’ll say. I had trouble with it originally. And since I’m super rusty after the last time I played it, still kind of hard lol.
But that feeling when you finally kick his ass... De Rol Le and Dark Falz are maybe the two most satisfying boss kills I've ever done. WORTH IT! :)

デ・ロル・レ戦BGM PSOでは、これが一番好きな曲です。
いや、I&II IV BB 2 の中でも一番好き。
UP(しかもロングVer)ありがとうございます。
Just did it today, with a level 10 hunter (I'd only an autogun) That was such a pain in the ass, took me something like 10 tries
Good Job.

having to lie there dead watching your teammate fight to the win was great...until they picked up your weapon!!!
@@davidlee4903 I mean at least they can give it back to you when they warp back and you aren't a rotting carcass on the floor anymore.
such a difficult boss when you first fight him but afterwards it's easy cause you've got him figured out AoE is the way to go
This bossfight lasts soooo long with a HUnewearl, even at lvl12-15.
Had to stack up a ton of monomates and fluids for Resta just to survive.
I tried it at level 8, I had to quit and restart because I didn't want to die. V2 is punishing
Die Ra Lie (Ultimate)... A true nightmare...
I don't remember De Rol Le being that difficult. What I do remember is fighting De Rol LE while having to keep that fragile ass Mome alive!
You talking about the sidequest where you have to go backwards through the mines to where De Rol Le is while protecting some guy?
Mome was the name of this idiot... good thing he fainted in the GC version
Smartest thing he ever did, playing dead.
This song reminds me so much of a song from Infinite Undiscovery.
[ Strings Intensify ]
The sugar milk of guilty gear don't make you put any on just leave it on the sticks
What does it have to do with a fighting game?
Just beat this boss this track is fire. Also those bombs it sets up are hella scary.
Light attack, light attack, light attack, dodge the tentacle.

De Rol Le better be in PSO2. As the hardest boss ever.
[Sad Bal Rodos noises]
**INTERNAL SCREAMING**
sounds like something from mario galaxy
I did so much dmg to this boss with NUG2000 bazooka...I'm sorry I did that even if it was kind of self defense
Liked Forest, disliked Cave, was okay with Mine, hated Ruins
It's called Dal Ra Lie.
Nah, Falz using Grants every five minutes is cheap. Always hate it when I'm TTFing with higher levels, one hits me EVERY time :/
For a second boss in the game, he was the most annoying honestly for me. took me about 20 tries to kill him, and i spent a good few hours each time, thats why i never liked caves. annoying enemies, cheap boss
They nerfed it on the Game Cube version.
