You couldn't be more right. I spent all my time fixing the damn thing. Plus the battery would fall out of it in flight......... instant crash.
😂😂 I'm not alone thinking this machine is a little bastard !
I owned 3 lost 1, I don't even remember how long I've worked on them.
I must admit out of the box this thing is a luxury item not aimed at all toward beginer not even intermediates, everything will break in a second on the first crash.. Well not everything, mainly servos gears then pitch arms and main gear.
You'll have to throw additional money for a correct frame, add metal gears to your servos and a one way rotation hub helps when crashing (use throttle cut though !)
Also added a couple more options but the bulk idea is there.
I think it need a more powerfull engine the original one being driven to high and don't have that much torque also lighter blades.
5:08 I'd call it cyclic overshooting. I definitely felt it when I flew it.
Nice.!
Saved me some money thanks
Servo-saver mod saves servos and gears.
These aren’t beginner friendly helicopters
The rule is, the smaller the helicopter, the more difficult it is to fly.
I has a someone try and sell me one of these. But after this video im gonna skip on it. What model would you recommend. I used to own a blade mcpx. I guess I'm still beginner mode...I can fly and not crash..lol.
Twister Ninja 250 great little learner heli
Dude just ramp up the main rotor gain to 90 some odd percent and it will be stable, but I agree I'd rather have a MCPX BL, as a matter of the Sold my Trex 150X shortly after buying it... to fragile for what it's meant for..
Yeah i very much agree, ive got the motor at 100% in 3d flight ant its still woo weak for the most part
sadly i can only agree with this. i bought a 150x start of this year and get so frustrated trying to set it up i give up !! if this is supposedly for a beginner it will just push people away from this hobby!! its the worst model ive ever bought!!! and its not been in the air yet!!!
Hi, thanks for sharing. I just bought a RTF version with the Align A10. I wish I saw this video before I bought this helicopter. I agree it is pain just to set it up. The flying is quite demanding as well. BUT I have one question that I hope you might have an answer too.. for the pitch range. When stick is in the middle it should be with zero pitch, right? Up +11 down -11, for example. But when I set it up for "normal" and with the setting as per instruction, the mid stick position (50% pitch), gives me crazy neg pitch. It should be zero, no? How to do I deal with this? Or what am missing.. frustrated.
Cheers R
yeah, its supposed to be at 0% with no pitch, i could never get mine right either though so just go with whatever percentage gets you to zero pitch, as far as negative pitch i think i had to program that through the subtrim in the radio if i remember correctly
Mechanically speaking you should have 0° pitch when everything is setup perfectly, it's something I realy appreciate with this heli there should be no margin for errors here.
Second step go to the app and set up all your servo horns perfectly parallel to the ground.
That all your zero us setup.!
Consider buying a swash leveling tool it even easier to do.
Can you tell me where to find the landing gear please, thanks.
Microheli.com, under upgrade parts
so far i cant configure my ilign 150x
Why would you hit throttle kill a few ft off ground??no auto capability
not really much auto capability at any altitude with this bird anyways
That's why everyone sells this thing on 2nd hand market, they hate it lmao
Hell i loved mine until i flew something else lmao finally joined the omp m1 squad though, never looking back
Align still hasn’t figured out micros. The 100 sucks ass too.
I'm actually looking into buying a fun little micro, is it that bad? Any other suggestions?
So basically it’s garbage
Absolute garbage lol do not buy one
Garbage is a little rough, I would say setup intense and fragile. 😂
