Thank you for helping me to start calming and soothing my brain , the catraphising will slowly evaporate and my body will slow down the out of control thoughts.I realise it will take time, but taking all the baby steps first gives me confidence I can make this journey. Gratefully 🙏

I did this and I felt for the first time how I fell deeper and deeper into a very comfortable nothingness (I don't know how else to describe it), but It came in stages and each stage was even deeper. Incredible. Thank you so much, and your voice is so relaxing and reassuring

I need this! Hard to do. I keep failing to live in the moment worrying about coping with the future with some recent life changes, plus living in the past re-playing alternative realities that don't exist.

Thanks for this, Esther. Much needed and much appreciated. I work in a hospital and the stress around the holidays (much of it self-induced) can be very intense there. I'll try to keep this practice with me throughout the day, starting today.

Ester, Ive been accused of trying so hard to see the end of a relationship coming, the possible hurt , that i dont enjoy any part of it or force an end. This meditation helped me with concentrating on what it is now. Enjoy now, today. I always said we attract what we fear the most. I cant fear tomarrow just live for today.

I've just tried this. It is so hard. I chose it because it's pertinent to me at this moment. Meditation constantly speaks of being in the now. However letting go of control of the future! That is another way of considering this proposition of 'now' and I have found it to be quite a challenge in actual practice. This is food for thought and for practice.

Try to be with your senses, they are always in the 'now', never in the future or past.

We can and should make plans precisely because we cannot control the future. We can only control our own actions and choices. Making good plans means taking various possible outside forces into account. Other people may affect us, or our health, or the economy; these are things we can't control, and thus we cannot control the future. But we can take charge to steer it toward where we want to go with our choices. Even so, it isn't good to get too attached to one outcome since we can't force it.

this is what death will be like - no control over body, thoughts - rather no thoughts, no body... now is that itself a thought that i didn't let go of? :D
