Back in the 60s, my parents would buy little crabapples in a jar with syrup. They were really good. I haven't seen them in any stores for several decades. Maybe someday I'll get a Crabapple if I find the good varieties.
Hello my fellow home gardener. It might sound crazy but as a small kid in Ukraine, I used to pull crabapples right from trees and eat them. They might resemble apples but they for sure taste quit different. I have never tasted them in syrup but hopefully one day will as it sounds delicious. Be well and Happy Gardening!!!
@lyubafranco Oh wow! I didn't know you were from the Ukraine. That's awesome. My brother, who was 8 years older than me, started folkdancing in Bal Boa Park in San Diego, California. My Mother and I started folkdancing shortly after back in the 60s. The Ukrainian Hopak was one of my favorite dances. May the One True Creator G_d bless and protect the beautiful people and land of the Ukraine 🇺🇦 and may we all walk in beauty and garden together.
@@terryulmer969 Ohh, wow Ukrainian Hopak is a great dance! Yes, I was born in Ukraine back when it was a part of USSR, then the union broke down in 1991. I moved here as a kid in 1998 with my family. Its been a while since I last visited Ukraine but I can't bear to hear/see all the horrors that are happening there for the last few years. No-one deserves that kind of inhumane torture. Be well my hello home gardener and Happy Gardening!!!
Hello and thank you for watching my video. To answer your excellent question, Can you split salvia plants? Yes. But dividing salvia is riskier than simply transplanting the whole plant. This is because you are ripping apart a larger percentage of the roots. Woody evergreen salvias are a bit fussier about transplanting than herbaceous perennials. I hope that I was able to answer your question. Be well and Happy Gardening!!!

Salvia can be propagated with cuttings though.
