  • In the SimCraft APEX6 GT 6DOF Racing Simulator, the center cockpit becomes the rigid body you are trying to simulate. When you use a physics based approach to motion simulation, recreating the same way vehicles move in real life, the simulation is as accurate as you can make it. This is the SimCraft difference.

    looks amazing. I guess the latency must be minimal compared to other systems, but it seems like a Stewart platform can generate greater angles of pitch and yaw, especially the braking doesn't seem to deliver a strong g force sensation?

      All these 6DOF can replicate is momentary G FORCE and not sustained like a braking, accel, or cornering scenario. 6DOF can translate for rally simulations, but accurate heave and roll transitions are not possible otherwise the driver would probably get banged up/concussed if they had actuators that had the correct level of response. Cost would be out of reach for non-commercial applications.
