- Cadence Fishing TV heads to the Warwickshire Avon at Evesham this week. Conditions are tough once again with an icy northerly wind and a hard frost. James decided to fish with the waggler using bread punch and maggot for bait. A proven cold water method that produced bream to 4lb, roach/bream hybrids, roach and chub. Top fishing James......on a cold day.......used to fish in Huxleys stretch......1965 a few years ago I know where there were a lot more features with loads of dace....big perch and chub.....loads of fish then.....your range of rods look great quality and lovely action.......I view with interest the developments for your company and it’s all very positive.....keep up the great work with your videos....great viewing.....

Brilliant video as usual James and Ian .My pal and I have been visiting Evesham from "up north" for 20 odd years now. In fact we stay at the Weir Meadow site, which can be seen through the parapet upstream of Workman bridge in the video. Often wondered what it would be like to fish of that jetty, looks brilliant, lucky you lol. Got the juices flowing early now for this year.Roll on September. Keep up the great work guys.

James, as always a great video. I have been watching your videos for a long time. I am from Russia and I am especially interested in your videos in which you lure and fish for bread. Please tell us in more detail what kind of bread you use for bait and which for hook attachment. How to prepare bread for bait so that it is the same as in your videos? Sorry for my english

Hi Phill, yes I love those floats, top quality. Must be more than 20 years old. Stan made them for me with yellow tops (I’m colour blind and can’t see red / orange floats)

By and large yes...but if it's windy there could be a case for a sinking line.
