Here's what the fried stuffs (gorengan) you ate: 4:40 Fried Cassava or Singkong in Indonesia 5:10 Bala-bala/bakwan or veggies fritter, made from combination of veggion (cabbage, carrot, sprouts, etc) 5:30 Yup, it's pisang goreng or fried banana 5:50 Fried tofu, this one is a hollow one (tahu sumedang) similar to 8:20, usually there's a variant with veggies inside or even chillies (this one called gehu, beware could be very spicy) 6:12 Gorengan ubi or fried sweet potato 8:20 It's fried tofu this one specifically tahu sumedang, goreng mantan literally translate to fried ex (ex-wife, ex-gf, ex-bf, et) that's why it's very spicy, LOL

some info regarding the gorengan you had (literally my favorite! I can eat it anytime of the day plus they are VEGAN). Order from the first thing to last you tasted: - singkong goreng: fried cassava - bakwan sayur / bakwan / ote ote / bala bala: mix of shredded veggies mostly cabbage, carrot, spring onion, bean sprouts bind with flour batter - pisang goreng: fried banana - tahu / tahu goreng: fried tofu (the one you said taste like chicken nuggets) it is indeed most of the time tasteless. Try to find tahu isi / gehu (same thing but filled with veggies) - tempe goreng ? (taste like banana) but not quite sure as tempe would be savory yet you said it taste like banana I'd ask the guy for freshly fried ones so they're still piping hot and crunchy

The fried things that you first bought is all from plant source. The one that taste like mashed potato is Cassava. The one that has nothing inside is fried bean curd, and the one that has cabbage is Bakwan (vegetable fritter).
For gorengan menu that you've ate, first it's called fried cassava (singkong goreng), second it's called bakwan (mix fried of slice cabbage and carrot), after fried banana it is tahu goreng (fried tofu) it's supposed to eat with cayenne pepper, then after that it's called fried sweet potato (ubi goreng).
Singkong goreng is casava fries, mantang goreng is sweet potato fries,combro is mix from casava and Soybean tofu ,bakwan is mix from flour Cabbage carot bean sprouts,tahu goreng is soybean tofu fries, and some like thats,actually you can buy that 500 until 2000 rupiah per item and you can eat all of that with chili
4:45 singkong (sing-kong) = cassava 5:58 tahu (ta-hoo) = tofu 5:15 that cabbage and dough fried is called bala-bala or bakwan. it's my favorite with bird eyes chilli 6:16 ubi = it's in one family with sweet potato.

The fried things that you first bought is all from plant source. The one that taste like mashed potato is Cassava. The one that has nothing inside is fried bean curd, and the one that has cabbage is Bakwan (vegetable fritter).

For gorengan menu that you've ate, first it's called fried cassava (singkong goreng), second it's called bakwan (mix fried of slice cabbage and carrot), after fried banana it is tahu goreng (fried tofu) it's supposed to eat with cayenne pepper, then after that it's called fried sweet potato (ubi goreng).

Singkong goreng is casava fries, mantang goreng is sweet potato fries,combro is mix from casava and Soybean tofu ,bakwan is mix from flour Cabbage carot bean sprouts,tahu goreng is soybean tofu fries, and some like thats,actually you can buy that 500 until 2000 rupiah per item and you can eat all of that with chili

The one that looks like a cubic, that is tahu (kind of tofu, but harder). Yang 'cabbage' we called it bakwan. And the big round thing, we called it ubi, or sweet potato

they all taste alike because fritters like those use the same batter! the dude basically dips everything into the same batter bowl before frying and thats why it all taste similar
