Kinda looks like an over priced uv resin. What are the specs on the uv gun light? Wondering if a $20 nail uv lamp would work.

You said you can set stones without glue, is it malleable to form prongs? I’m confused. Also what extra equipment is needed besides colors?

@@Suehuskins our Tech Team got back to us and said that, yes, you can set stones without glue using these products. The process is to drill a hole and create a seat using a diamond or carbide bur that is approximately .05mm smaller than the stone you are setting. Place the piece on the heater for 30 minutes or so at 60C. The material will expand slightly with the heat, then push the stone into the seat and let the item cool down. It’s more like a flush setting. Each type has it’s own list of equipment required. For a full list of required equipment for Hyceram, Luxart, and Luxon, I would recommend giving us a call at 800-545-6566 or emailing at info@riogrande.com. You can also search for Hyceram, Luxart, and Luxon on our resource center to see the step by step videos: www.riogrande.com/category/resource-center. We hope this is helpful!

Lol - that is totally wrong, you still sell Kliar Nano-Ceramic E-Coating while it doesn't work on rings durability wise, it works great on pendants and only costs like $60 a bottle! plus the rectifier which you can find online if you look for a good priced one for $120 like I did ... if you got the $5,000 well then ok!

@@angelamarshall1819, our Tech Team said, Luxon would be the best place to start as it’s versatile with opaque and transparent colors, and requires the least amount of equipment. All that is required is the Link and Bond, the color of your choice, and the blue light LED. We typically use a sand blaster to rough up the surface to give it some “teeth”, but any abrasive will work the same way. We hope this was helpful. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!
