Just got back a week ago from doing the silos from Horsham up through the Mallee and back. Cool mornings, nice days and no rain with some awesome artwork..
We really enjoyed our time spent together. Glad you enjoyed your little taste of our beautiful part of Victoria. Look forward to having you back when the weir is full and the pastures green.
Really enjoyed your trip back home to SA, great memories from Tassie as well. Enjoy your break at home and looking forward to your next adventures. Bill Mc
Arriving home!! It always brings mixed feelings as one transfers their mind back to the mundane issues of life once again. I do hope that you found everything as it should be with no damage from storms etc whilst you were away. Then starts the unpacking of the van & the cleaning out before putting it away for the next trip. At least with the cold nights & short days, you can get in some snacks, curl up on the lounge & watch the replay of your Tasmanian trip on the big screen!! 😂
We travelled through that area last November there's some beautiful country out there. Heading back to Bright later this year so thanks for some great tips. Glad all went well, with the Doc's had a few myself removed. Stay safe.
Another wonderful video. I envy your lifestyle. Once again, love the background piano music. Hope the growth on your back was a non-event. Looking forward to the next vid !
For some reason Sally did a google search and found out that there was more than the two that I had mentioned soon after I had put the video together, never too old to learn🙂
Your GPS certainly took you on many detours enroute home me (we) thinks🤣🤣 - I (we) were dizzy by the time u got to Loxton via G/ A and E (Y)!! Whew. Thanks Jan and Kam Toowoomba P S. new to Mick & Sally? Their Tassie vlogs are interesting/ informative and fun❤❤. This also applies to others on their ytube channel❤
Hey Mick n Sally. Love your videos. We have a question. We are about to start doing an itinerary for a 3 month trip from Qld to SA n anything in between. Our question is.. what do you use to find the cheaper/free sites. And what s your setup for off grid. We also have a traveller van but no ensuite. Thanks in advance.
Other than listening to others while out on the road, we use WikiCamps to find out where all the good campsites are located. The app charges a once off fee when you first download it to your phone, but it is worth the cost. We have 2x 100amp Lithium batteries with 560 watts of solar on the roof as well as a portable 200 watt blanket which we hardly ever use. It may seem a lot of power but we hardly ever get below 60% in battery storage in any 24 hour period. Enjoy your trip to SA when you venture this way🙂
Great series, you've done Tasma IA proud,,thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip .😊
Thank you, we has a great time while in Tasmania, we will look back at our videos from time to time to relive our trip over there.

There is a talent shown in a lot of the art works that have been done.

The unpacking and the cleaning, never something to look forward to.
Parked up next to water Weather fresh or salty who cares its beautiful to get that nice spot 😍
For sure, or even an outback location that has a few bushes or trees isn't too bad either. No bricks and mortar is great anywhere 🙂
G'day Mick and Sally love your videos, qld sunshine Coast also has one of those pubs.cheers Tony Brisbane
Yes so I found out after I had done the video, one I wasn't aware of👍

@JustCruisin with Mick and Sally. Just letting you know there is a third Ettamogah Pub with the third being in Queensland.
For some reason Sally did a google search and found out that there was more than the two that I had mentioned soon after I had put the video together, never too old to learn🙂

the glory of not having to be home to go to work, we love our new found freedom.
There was also an Ettamogah Pub In the Sunshine Coast of Qld on the Bruce Hwy. It has now been changed to a different name.
Yes, I was unaware of that until I put the video together and it was then pointed out to me about there being more than the two Pubs.
The 4th Ettamogah Pub is at Kellyville Ridge NSW
@@frizzy60 great stuff, thank you🙂
the banana bender pub now ;-)
Normal winter conditions then. The water isn't needed downstream and in a few months the snow will melt and refill the dam.
Yes it is all about forward thinking to prevent flooding down stream.
