They seem very cool and friendly. Am surprised they didn't question you about the camera 😊. Some people are happy 😂 to be in the video. Aisha sister is very beautiful and lovely.
Ayekoo Jasmine! I was feeling claustrophobic when you were walking through the market... and I'm just watching oo 😂 Love the authenticity of your videos!
Jasmine since you are young well informed and knowledgeable. When you walk the African markets and you shop online. What do you think of Africa trade, business, commerce and capacity to produce and logistics. Where do you see Africa trade transform of goods and services in ten years.
There is ao much potential but minimal resource. Unfortunately we still do most things manually and a lot of things are still sold in the raw form which is very limiting. With the influx of entrepreneurs and other organizations I think this is gradually changing and its only going to het better x
Hmmmm....V interesting observation for me - I see no over weight woman among our northerners. Must be the diet, the environment & damn hardwork!!💪🏾 They look v fit👍🏾 Jasmine, bravo, you've toughed it out there, & given us v informative and interesting lifestyle of our northern folks. Hopefully, you'll hit the Bono regions another time. Thanks again
Ur very welcome, they word so hard in the heat as well. Its crazy. U rarely see any unfit women or men. Their diet is very natural too. Farm to plate basically ❤️
I agree with other comments. I do love this background music! How did you randomly stumble across Aisha's sister? I continue to enjoy following along to each new market journey!!! In the US, we have but one type yam which we commonly call a sweet potato. It's a golden orange in color resembling a russet potato except it has tapered ends. It's quite different to yams (tubers) in Ghana. I look forward to trying so many new foods when I one day come for a visit. May God continue to Bless Ghana.
She just saw me and called out my name. Lol its crazy cos we never met. Guy who was helping me film knows her too. Love sweet potatoes too. I have had them steamed and mashed and as fries too. They dont get crispy fried thoughh which sucks. Haven’t found any restaurants that serve crispy sweet potato friesyet x

Very busy market, but very different from the city market in Accra. It's nice to go to a laid back market once in a while. I think the best part of visiting a new area or country are the markets. Great video!!👍🏽👍🏽

I've been following you for a couple of weeks and subscribed to your channel today. I love your content and keep on keeping on. We used to call the sandals made of tyre, Jesus Keepeth My Soul or Afro Moses, in the 1970s and 1980s.
Hi Jasmine!...this is a good market, there's a Ghana store near me here in U.S.A with beautiful hand craft sandals (made also of tire rubber) but she has none in my size, I think I would like the rugged feel of them but I could never make my own sandals (I wouldn't know where to begin!) and I did observe the people there as even-going...my type of shopping, thanks for sharing! :)
I had such a hard time filming in Ghana. At one point our car was surrounded by street vendors and one even tried to open the door. We were at a light and I was filming the drive and they got very suspicious. Thank goodness our driver told them to back off. I would ask beforehand if I was specifically filming a vendor.
Omg the same lady caught me off guard at 8:08 😂 I didn't expect her to just come through in front of the camera like that. I love market food. It's so much better before it gets to the supermarket. That's 1 thing I loved about Jamaica. Can't wait to see the next video ❤️
Not only that area alone but the whole Ghana. More than 50% yams you buy in Accra and other places comes from that area. They are best yams farmers in Ghana. 👌🏾👍🏾
