Ah hem, Okay thank you. I watched this video already. I copied the recipe in the description for the dish made. Is Tuo zaafi the dish or is it an ingredient? Thank you so much for replying. I am so glad I found your channel. I am a fan!
I wish you would have asked what their means of transportation is. It sounds like her mother lives far away from her but she says she visits her mother. I was just curious how they travel? I didn't see a car.
They normally use taxi but the only disadvantage is u wouldn't feel soo comfortable in the taxi because its a loaded taxi that some passengers sits on top of the taxi which is very interesting @leahharvey3291
Hi Jasmine ! Thank you for taking us with you to experience life in a Ghana Village. I thank the family you visit. Very nice people. When you see how others live, even though they may not have much, they are thriving and surviving on much less then we are and we still complain, while she smiles such a beautiful smile. Food for thought..
Real village life. Reminds me of watching some old Ghanian and Nigerian videos of the village life. Thanks for uploading, nice job capturing the real...
Wonderful vid. Faiza seems like a joy to be around. Bubbly and intelligent. Also, she has that West African Aunty superhuman physical prowess. The heat of fire and day doesn't even phase her. LOL The food looks good.
Excellent content once again. I love to vicariously experience the life of the common people. Very nice family. I am always amazing at the amount of work that goes into the preparation of a meal. These types of content fascinates me because I'm trying to reconnect with my ancestors. Missing Aesha and her antics. 🇯🇲
The leaves are called bira in Dagbanle and bito further up North. It's a hibiscus plant. When the start seeding they produce a fleshy sheaf covering a pod within which the seeds are contained. The fleshy sheaf can also be used for the same peanut butter soup they make with the leaves. More importantly the red variety is used to make the popular healthy drink sobo.
You just gained a new follower from Kenya. I love the way you lightly ask questions to keep the conversation. I loved it. The woman really felt comfortable
That sun 🌞 and heat was no joke I could see you sweating out there. It's amazing how so many ways of life and doing things can be in one country. The soup looked really good. Thank you for showing village life in northern Ghana.🤗
Here in my city I have not found kasava. In South America it is more common and is called yucca. Ce is cut and mixed with salt and eggs and make small balls, crush them and put them on a frying pan.
Thank you for bringing us alone to North Ghana, never been there. I was born and raised in Sunyani Ghana mom moved to the states and I haven't been back in almost 23 years. Medase
Jasmine in Jamaica we have that plant. It’s called Callao. Nice when steamed with scallions onions peppers thyme tomatoes and butter. Also we use to do other things like stuffing fish before baking making patties etc. a nice plant 🌱

I missed you, love 😍, you look happy in Ghana. Especially the Northern part. I am grateful to see how we use bra to make groundnut soup. I like how she handles the knife 🔪.
Hello beautiful Jasmine. How laborious are the good meals of all peoples. Thanks, I loved this video. I would really like to be among you. I send you a hug and a kiss from Mexico 🇲🇽
So tuo zafi is the secret to her beautiful shape 😄 such a beautiful talented woman. That recipe looks so simple yet I bet it taste sweeter than the Akan versions we are used to. Informative vlog Jasmine 👌🏾
We make a similar dish in. Northern Uganda called Malakwang. The leaves are sour and cooked same process. You have to separate the water or the soup will be too sour. We put it with peanut sauce and eaten with millet fufu or sweet potatoes
Talk about being a gifted home economist, Faiizah runs her household. The physical labor required to prepare a traditional healthy meal for a Ghanaian family is incomprehensible to the average diaspora. Thank you Jasmine, for showcasing this amazing wife and mother!
Pounding that sweet yam was a full workout right there with emphasis on abs and arms 💪🏽💥 I like your honesty of being way out of your comfort zone, there's different strokes for different folks 🙂

I get bra from a farm in New Jersey, and it’s called sour sour. I prefer to taste the sourness of the soup so I put it directly in the soup. I usually have it with TZ.
It might be a cure for diabetes if it is bitter or sour. There are two kinds of yam I believe "pona (yellow)and dabreko (white)" .Take some of these bra leaves with you when going back to Tema to plant in your garden. Aisha will love it .
Thank you for yet another awesome content. I appreciate your candidness. I bought a packet of plantain flour to make fufu and then I read the ingredients, it contained potato flour.😳
Happy Mothers Day! Women everywhere are work horses and deserve this special special recognition. Jasmine again you're producing great work, so proud of you 👏 ❤ 💗
Omg I was si scare she might cut herself with the big knife she was using to cut the greens ( sorry I forgot what she call it). I guess she must be use to cutting with that knife because she didn't need no chopping board. She has 4 boys a 1 girl wow that is truly a blessing. All the boys are handsome including the one that crying. Nice video queen but it very hot there because was sweating.
