It's cool seeing how different the routes between 3DS and N64 are and seeing how close the WR for both categories actually are to each other. Sure, ZFG managed to get sub 3, but only by a few minutes, meaning if someone steps up to the plate and just plays perfectly for 3 hours 50, the WRs would be basically tied.
I can't imagine as for runners like you what the song playing in the end of the game, here Zelda's Lulaby, feels like, after having finished a 4 hours long run, and realizing you've beaten the world record. Your reaction and the way you've come up to realise the time you've done was perfect in synch with the music playing. Congratz on that new record!

It is absolutely stunning how much of this game you can cheese by having the Hover Boots. I love watching speedruns, even if I don't like doing them--you always learn so many fascinating tricks!
Does anyone else find it irksome that other fantasy games keep their swords and shields on their hips and arms, instead of on their backs like Link does in LOZ?
Like Skyrim for example, that game is amazing, but I hate running around with my sword at my fucking hip, it looks so goofy, and yeah I guess holding your shield on your arm makes for instant use, but still it feels and looks wrong to constantly have your shield attached to your arm ya know?
Honestly thought you'd have more competition than you do... Honestly this whole category seems to be rather... underplayed. I hope a breakthrough comes that makes this category appealing again

You didn't get the Big Deku Seed bag. I don't think I missed it but you didn't play the targeting game in the Lost Woods. I don't get how this is 100% category when you missed that, didn't get any maps or compasses in the dungeons, and didn't fight and defeat Ganon. It's impressive, this run, but calling it 100% is disingenuous.

You have to drop a bomb under your feet, then throw the fishingrod out when the bomb is about to explode. Then you can move while fishing.
