I was just moving some Pinnatifida today and was wondering if I should trim the long leaves -- so thanks for the tip. I love rewatching your videos because I always learn something new. Your channel is a great resource for the hobby. Thanks for doing this for us!
You can have scissors sharpened professionally, if they are well made . Look up Laville Barber in Indiana . I’ve had my grooming shears sharpened and realigned for 30 years by this company. You may find one closer to you. Ask the beauty and barber shops. They often have the rep from the company come every other month to pick up shears. Then you can have them shipped back. Also independent grooming salons will have the same service.
Thank you for the information! What is that light, and ehat did it cost? Im considering buying a Twinstar C450 for my 20inch, 10 gallon aquarium, and return these feit electric griw lights I bought.
Why do people thumbs down the video and not leave a comment as to why? It was an informative video not sure why anyone would hate it. And it hurts the channel also, not cool.

If the wood stays wet throughout the day it will work, or if you spray the wood with water it will work. But if the wood stays dry, then it will not work
@@ADUAquascaping naturally so... Thank you. I had to remove one bucephalandra already within 2 hours after having attached it and submerged that, one other seems closer to the wet wood and does fine still... Just tired of tannine from wood messing up my tank..
It should work, but it may be more stringy and less dense in hotter water. More think looking, but who knows. If you trim it nicely and keep up on it you can make the moss look great! Give it a try and thank for watching!
Thanks for that. I just did a water change and trimmed bunch of the moss along with the hair algae. Will definitely reduce photo period. I prolonged it to increase other types of algae for shrimp and snail to feed on, but they were not tackling the hair algae so...

Ahmad Hafizudin Azmi that is a good point. Over time they can acclimate, so yes, you must reduce the algae and then begin increasing the light once again. I have had the very thing you speak of happen in one of my tanks.

I probably just ate something I imagine. Humans swallow once per minute unless they're mentally challenged. I hate when people talk with excessive spit in their mouths haha

Nice vid as always man. Missing you as another voice of reason around the forums though.
Well it take over your aquarium how do in keep it on one rock
Just keep trimming it when it gets too large. Remove excess with a siphon tube and or net. It won't take over.
You can use thread to attach it to rock or wood. Or you can use super glue

It would be cool to make a Christmas tree aquascape with Christmas moss.

Come back!!
You can sharpen them for about $6 instead of buying new
maybe in his place getting to the man who sharpens them costs more than 6 bucks. You know, transport, tickets and so on.
You don't need to get new scissors, you can just sharpen them.
My sharpener is one of the best purchases I've ever made.. I haven't bought new knives or scissors in years.
I can't have an open lid tank. My cat will be drunk from RO water lol.
Hey I know you were close to NickMach007 can u persuade him to come back
Garbage Man I wish, but he never responds. I have tried in the past.
Just a note: you can have your scissors sharpened at any place that does professional knife sharpening. It's very inexpensive as well.
Right! I just ended up sharpening them myself! Haha
