Dankbaar om hierdie sanger te kon hoor sing, God het hom geseen om in vele se harte te kon skryf en sy gesindheid het boekdele gespreek, n mense mens, Dankie vir sy ouers, se liefde aan hom en dat hy geskenkde tallente kon deel met ieder en elk, Ons innige meegevoel aan sy gesin Moeder en Vader. Jaren geleden hoorde ik een liedje in een taal welke mij bekend klonk, maar welke ik niet goed kon verstaan. Mijn eerste kennismaking met de Afrikaanse taal. Én Theuns Jordaan. Mijn God wat heeft hij een mooie stem. En mij God wat sloeg mijn hart over, toen ik hoorde dat hij was heen gegaan. Sterkte gewenst aan al diegene die hem na stonden. Ik benijd degene aan te tafel van de Heer, want nu kunnen zij een brok in hun keel krijgen, onderwijl naar zijn ongelofelijk mooie en warme stem te luisteren.. Theuns ik zal je weerzien in het Rijk hierboven..
