I quit growing my Hoyas in pon. I had a few I had to restart. I prefer soil because I can flush my Hoys out at least once a month or every 6ish weeks. I use my own chunky aroid mix that includes tree fern fiber. I love to use Mycorrhizae when I repot plants, especially Hoyas due to their small root systems. Healthy roots = healthy plants! When my leaves get wrinkly, I use a diluted orchid foliar spray on the leaves. We all kill plants from time to time. It’s how we learn! I learned that I kill string of anything so I won’t attempt it after several fails!! 😆
@@lovesyorkies3395 Thank you so much for sharing your time and experience 🧚🏽 I love the idea of flushing plants through which I can’t do at the moment. Also a few of you have spoken about Tree Fern fibre. I use this with my Anthurium and they love it. 🪴💚✨
@@lovesyorkies3395 Yay thank you for the advice. I have so Orchid spray I will try it more often. The struggling Hoyas are currently in a propagation bin under light 🙏🏾
It must be the fertilizer. I never seen yellow roots. My Hoyas seem to love tree fern. I’m not to happy growing them in pon anymore. Good luck with the cuttings 🙏🏽💞
Hi there😌🙌Oh My Gosh!💔I wonder what happened? All I can think of is that pon needs a wicker polyester fiber to keep the pon evenly moist. Don't worry though, you have all those beautiful cuttings and it'll grow again😌🤲💞

I just think some plants don’t like to be repotted in pon…I’ve lost a few. I think plants like to grow in it but not be repotted in it. X
@@vixistixi Yes I have heard this from Basie Plants. Thanks for sharing 🪴💚✨

Did you change your fertilizer or not?
@@gingercaudill7219 Yes I did change the fertiliser. Ran out of Liquid Gold Leaf which has been out of stock for ages 😢
The Noona has grown so much
@@planttherapy1860 I know it’s was a sad day 😢
I'm so sorry, but it might not really be anything you did with your plant. If it has reddish spots, that could be flatmites.
@@LatinaPlants Oh No! Not Flat Mite 😩
I wonder if those red spots could be edema
@@gingercaudill7219 I was wondering if the spot was caused by cold nights. Didn’t think of Edema 🧐
Yes, could possibly be both but I don’t think it was the larger vessel for real
