So the cat members are like a independent attack force which can pull off the motor cade. Very cool to know about this extra protection I just thought it was like swat and or higher military units did that duty while the president was the motorcade.

LoL, that is an understatement! I was a bomb dog K-9 cop in the Air Force and I was tasked to provide support to the Secret Service in Houston TX when VP Cheney came for a visit. As we were waiting for the motorcade to arrive (we could see it about a half mile away on the access road adjacent to the freeway) a trash truck swerved to avoid a small vehicle that slowed down to see why all the mounted horse patrols were lined up in the grass between the freeway and the access road. There were also a bunch of cop cars at the hotel he was coming to where we were. It was 7am so there was a lot of traffic. The trash truck ended up going into the grass, nearly took out the horses and smashed through a freeway sign coming to rest since the weight of the truck caused it to sink into the mud. I had to run across the street and attempt to clear the truck of bombs while the Secret Service ripped that poor driver from the truck and slammed him down. I will never forget the look on the VPs face through the window as they passed it all. It all went down so fast and close to his arrival the only place to evade it was to get him into the hotel. That poor driver had an accident at the worst place, at the worst time. I ruined my suit and shoes in mud as I was calf deep in it. The police helo circling the hotel I swear I thought was about to land on top of the truck since it had a sniper in it. LoL, people will probably think I am full of shit and this never went down. I know it did. I will also never forget the poor cops that almost got bucked off their horses as they fled the giant truck that almost ran them down. What a SS mission that was.

I still can see that poor trash truck drivers face in my mind. The SS ripped him out of the truck and slammed him down hard due to him wrecking right as the Vice President was pulling up. LoL that poor bastard wrecked at the worst place and time. If it wasn't for all the stupid rubber neckers slowing down on the freeway to see what the horses in the grass median were doing there, the poor guy wouldn't have wrecked. The whole thing was crazy LoL. I retired from the Air Force Mar 2014. Thanks for your thanking my service. I would do it all over again without thinking twice. I am now a 100% disabled veteran, but it's all good.
On a side note, I loved my time in the AF. I got to travel all over the world thanks to my time in. I traveled to Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, British Indian Ocean Territory, Iraq, Yemen, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Turkey, England, Italy, Sicily, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Mexico, Jamaica, Portugal, and The Azores. I also got to see 37 States. Not too bad for 18 years service. I was medically retired 2 years early due to PTSD and 2 surgeries on my neck to fuse vertebrae because of herniated discs. I have all this titanium in my neck now. Like I said, I would do it all over again even knowing what would happen to me. LoL, enough of that rant.

A friend was live steaming the motor Cade driving past. When it got somewhat close the live stream went down from that electronic counter measure vehicle. It shuts down all electronic feeds when it passes thru

I could have sworn that the U.S. Army soldiers of the WHTA or White House Transportation Agency were the drivers of the U.S. Presidential limos vs. the Secret Service. I know for a fact that the WHTA are soldiers, though. They are highly trained drivers, and they deal with pretty much everything that has to do with the presidential motorcade vehicles. I learned about these guys years ago, so I can easily be slightly off about them being the actual motorcade limo drivers.

I really think they should open a think that would be kind of cool. To be able to see inside older Secret Service cars. That would be kind of a neat thing like the spy Museum in Washington DC.
I don't know what "open a think" means, but some older limousines are on display in various museums, presidential libraries, etc.

So, if Marine One is always around... why not just take it from the airport to the engagement? There is probably a helipad near by. This would save a lot of traffic jams when the Prez comes to town.

in many cases there is not an adequate place to land a helo and there is also the problem of securing the location and still needing vehicular transport

The military vehicle shown at the beginning of this video is NOT the NBC vehicle used in presidential motorcade. I challenge the creator of this video to show a single clip of a complete motorcade that includes such a vehicle.
They use so much stock footage (obviously) but they showed an “agent” with a baofeng uv5r radio lol. The most common and insecure radio in the ham radio world.
I think about poor John Kennedy. You always ask questions about why. No one took evasive actions. The car continued at the same speed until his head was gone along with his life. Learn from your mistakes as I'm sure they did. It still hurts.

The ultimate irony is that facetime has made all this stuff excessively expensive and unnecessary. Why waste the money when you could just give the president a laptop.
Because it’s a power move. Pulling up in a huge motorcade with armed Secret Service and a whole bunch of security and vehicles is a power move. not to mention the fact that there are some times when a president must make a physical appearance to someone and not simply have it be a phone call because certain people would not be willing to be persuaded to do the right thing by someone that’s just calling them.

Probably because I added a link to a site explaining how the US Flag is supposed to be displayed. We played a youth baseball team with the flag backwards and I asked if they knew. Their coach said he was furious with the uniform company but was stuck with them. He was quite concerned his team would offend military veterans.
