Shack! everyone has been telling you to REMOVE Lando from your fleet. DON'T use him for combat, he is best used in orbit above a mining planet. Also NEVER leave your Interdictor alone. If you came into this last battle and placed her immediately to use her ability and then left her at spawn while moving your fleet away, those 3 ISDs would have came in and killed her faster than you could do anything to save her. DO NOT LOSE HER! You must not leave her unprotected like you did last episode and almost lost her to fighters and bombers.

Shack, all you need to support Wedge's SSD are a few anti-fighter ships. I've taken down fleets of 3 or 4 ISD's and their support fleets with EASE with nothing but that SSD and a handful of correlian corvettes and a Nebulon B or two. Seriously that thing is a whole fleet on it's own USE IT!
what he needs to do, is build up a massive fighter force big enough to take out a preator super dreadnaught with any capital or support ship help, if it's big enough, the fighters alone will be enough to win the battle.
A total conversion of like Total War Attila where Rome = Empire, Germans = Rebels and Huns = Yuuzhan Vong would be sick. It would be impossible tho to make it great
I think that you should completely take those ground attacks. After you completely conrol the planets in the rear, you can focus on the West/South area. And you can leave the completely locked planets 'undefended' and put those ships and ground troops to better use attacking the enemy held planets.
The modular taskforce cruiser was a support vessel class built by Tagge Industries Shipyards Limited for the Galactic Empire. These ships functioned as a generic framework on which Mission Function Modules could be mounted and reconfigured as necessary.
You really need more cap ships. In addition to Kuat and Mon Calamari, Fondor also has a level three shipyard! Build some of the new MC90s! Unfortunately Fondor doesn't have a lot of defences, and it's really close to that ISD rampaging through your western territory. I would scramble a small task force of the interdict or, home one, and some support fleet, to take it out. Leave the rest to defend Kuat.

I would love nothing more than to see an Eve total conversion mod for ANY space strategy game. Ever since I played EaW and Eve Online, I've known I wanted the whole Eve world and lore and style applied to exactly that kind of game. It's _so_ rich and gives creators _so_ much material (both in terms of mechanics and flavor) to work with... I would play the heck out of it! Let me play Stellaris where I'm guiding the early days of one of the empires (not just the Big 4, but other spacefaring empires as well) to change the course of history! There are already so many factions with developed backstories in Eve, and so many ships and technologies associated with each one, that it just needs to be brought in... lovingly.
Modular Taskforce Cruisers are special carriers used by Palpatine. They carry TIE Droids and aren't very powerful. Also, most players seem to consider the MC90 better than the Majestic, so I would use the MC90 as the backbone of your fleets. Ackbar's ship is called the Galactic Voyager, and it is also an MC90.
This might be too late, but I would build the ships you can only build at Mon Calamari there rather than build ships you could construct anywhere else, that way you get the more powerful ships there to bring forward rather than average ships
if you go through bilbring and ord montell , that's the shortest way to your lines . I know theirs A LEVEL 3 SPACE STATION there but if you build a support fleet their you can brak through that line.
Shack, The majestic is probably the most durable and powerful star ship available to you right now. Use it as such, it looks more flimsy and specialized than it actually is.
use wedge, the isd 2, and the interdictor you have as a cleanup fleet, keep them in friendly space to take out small attack fleets and build more mc90s
You should secure your core area and just capture those last few planets behind your front lines, and then take Byss, that way you can invade the core worlds on two fronts, plus instead of defending 2 planets on the left flank you only have to defend 1 which could mean you could clean up the Imperial Remnant on your right before you head for the Deep core.
Shack definetly consider pushing deeper into the core worlds. Your main attack fleet should consist of the heavist capital ships from mon calamari and Kuat, as well as wedge antilles and admiral ackbar

I don't know if you've figured it out by now, but bomber torpedoes can pierce shields, or so they should. Target enemy ship's shield generators, if possible, to bring their shields down permanently. After that, I suggest targeting weapon systems and engines.
+Carlton Willis Well that's bullshit. Proton torpedoes are slow moving kinetic objects, which can pass through those shields. Unless I'm not seeing it right and they're faster than a torpedo.
Shack you should send your second fleet your building to punch a hole threw to wedge then pull him back with the rest of your ships in that area and secure the main republic space
You could try and form 2-3 task forces comprising of 2-3 MC80b/90 and a dozen support ships( Assault Frigates and Quasars ) so you can attack smaller forces or defend any planet you have atm. And yes , please put Gen. Calrissian on a planet full of mines :P

Those weird ships are repair ships aren't they? And you've seen them before from another game where you built a force mostly of Droid hulk ships I think that's their name. The giant C shaped ships with a sphere in the middle.
Protip: fill your asteroids with mines, they get double income, and then send Lando to one of them (you start with two such planets, and you have Kessel blockaded).
I feel like a Star Wars mod for Stellaris would really need a "historical/established start" mechanic like EU4 has, where you can basically pick a time period, then play as any of the factions present in that time period, as they were in that time period, with all their planets and technology and stuff. Honestly, if they did that, I'd play it just for that.
Theres a reason why I chose Panstar or empire of the hand, they are a Small set number f factions meaning I Can conerntrate in atleast four sectors to défend and others to waste on Fleet building, units and économies.
I would love a 1st / 3rd Person strategy game like EAW:FOC where you play as a pirate gang in which you organise a Mob of thieves from one planet and the main idea of the game is to Steal tech (Guns/Ships/starfighters) from private military/Organisations starting from the days of the old republic and working your way through the yuuzhan vong war. Also when your Character dies you fight against increasingly tougher enemys throughout the Eras to gain the leadership position of the Mob Empire. It would also mean most missions you can play a sneaky play style or a run&Gun type play style but at a cost of losing time to steal technology as the security will be hot on your tail. Also going through each era means that the missions become harder as security technology gets greater in the later game. Tell me what you all think about this?
You know, if you think about it, Stellaris isn't really the best for a Star Wars conversion. All of the planets are already colonized and are already solidified. Not really much purpose to colonization in a Star Wars type game.
Not all are, there are still many planets that are uncolonized or uninhabited. Also, a Star Wars mod doesn't have to replace the actual stellaris game. The Star Wars mod would be great for people who like the more late game part of stellaris

Raid forces do not count as enemy, so if they came, just stay away and watch the show. And when raid forces destroy your enemy, It will still count as victory for you.

Kuat is by far one of the most interesting planets and is a very tactical position do too Kuat Drive yards

Erik Mallas In the base game they do. In this they do mega damage to shields.

i believe they did it for balance because every rebel/new republic fighter can fire torps, which made killing ssds with just fighters possible.
shack you should conside taking the back planets to hit the remanents economy, they can keep pumping out ships so make it harder for them

I had the interdictor at the back of the battle when another fleet came in. One gun left at 25%
go for the SSD, with that you have a chance to focus of the ground invasions the outer rim planets.

If you bring infantry directly alongside a turbolaser tower, it can't hit them because they're too close.

as a veteran of this mod I would highly recommend building lots of capital ships specifically the majestic and mc90s.
