Tools aren't natural in the sense that they occur in nature, but it's certainly our nature to craft and use them (similar to other animals). Beyond those tools used to accomplish what animals would do, I guess they're not "naturalistic," but the argument could be made we're still making a connection, for example crafting a PS5 so we can exercise the "spacial geometry and object orientation" part of our brain. Or something that makes more sense than my terrible explanation.

Humans just exist in a time where our sociology is a crucial part of our being, to ignore it would be unnatural, like a cat de-clawing theirself. I think it's better understood through a psychological lens than an archeological or anthropological one. Natural to them is an internalized sense of norms and the overall state of the world, likely as a result of early childhood imprinting. In other words, the world as they view it from childhood is considered the natural and thus proper state of order of the world, and any perceived deviation from that is unnatural and improper sort of chaos. This is to some degree the psychological underpinning of conservative ideology.
However isn't to say that this mindset is exclusive to right wingers. It exists to some degree in all of us, but what's important is that we learn to recognize this common psychological reaction and approach our developing understanding aware of our own prejudices and biases.

I've had arguments with people who have a very similar mindset where they confuse belief with arguments, logic with common sense, common sense with intuition, intuition with prejudices. It's pretty frustrating, it's like they speak a different language that just so happens to use the same words as in English, which makes communication nearly impossible.
Classes in logic, scientific literacy, critical thinking, epistemology, etc. should be required teaching.
