Some tips for ginger island: use a watering can to cross the lava, walnuts can be up in trees or buried in the ground. Just look for weird spots and dig. You can also get them from fishing, mining in the volcano and completing the puzzles on the island. When you’re in the volcano make sure to take your sword food and some bombs to help you along.

@@BeanSparrow I’ve done the exact same thing lol. The ones that took me the longest to get was the gem bird puzzle bc i wasn’t getting any rain and i couldn’t remember where i got the gems from bc i didn’t immediately put them on the alter😭😂

I just got 100 of the walnuts in ginger island and unlocked the walnut room (it has hard quests that let you buy really cool rewards when completed). It was a pain, but here are my tips: - I recommend unlocking the farm and the farmhouse first. That’s the west side of the island. Then probably parrot express which is like the mine carts or the digsite. -Don’t pay 5 walnuts in the volcano dungeon on floor five. It’s not worth it. And I just bought mail because I didn’t realize they were offering to build me a WARP SPOT WTF? So spend wisely. - Most walnuts are buried where sand looks weird or in little spaces between stuff like four starfish or several rocks. Of course, there are many other places as well. If it’s in a weird area, chances are there is a secret passage to go through. - The volcano dungeon is hard to traverse, but totally worth it. On floor ten, there is a forge you can access any time that can enchant your tools and weapons. I never have to refill my watering can now for example. You can also combine rings so you can wear like four at a time. -Save some wheat seeds since you’re in season. You need to plant melons, then wheat, then garlic on the farm after talking to the frog in the cave. Don’t harvest the crops until you talk to them. - Leo loves duck feathers and mangos. Those are probably the easiest loved gifts to get. -Count purple flowers and blue starfish. -Try fishing. There are five walnuts in the water and you don’t have to play the mini game. It’s going to be a pain though if you go for perfection because you have to capture every single fish omg.

for finding walnuts, look for anything (especially buried in the ground that you need to hoe up) that looks suspicious, like circles of rocks on the ground and stuff, and you have to look for all of the details, and there’s a few guides on youtube for finding all of the walnuts :)
your farm is so chaotic 😭😭 the sprinklers in the greenhouse... the seperate shed for artisan goods... 😵💫❤️ you could really stretch your crop space with your iridium sprinkler layout if they were correct (leave four spaces between them, they cover 24 tiles each)

You can go even further right in the jungle and then you'll find a puzzle that once completed will give you some walnuts! Also, watch out for the journal pages, they have some nice info on how to navigate ginger Island. All the best for you and the whole family!

Hey amanda! So glad to see another stardew video and hope u and ur family r doing well! I would definitely consult the stardew wiki if u want to know all the locations of the walnuts, if u don’t wanna go that route then that parrot in leo’s place is also helpful, but not always clear plus he doesn’t tell u all the walnut locations. One thing is at some point ur gonna want to bring a slingshot because there’s a walnut in the tree in the north section at the topmost right part of the map that u can only shoot down with a slingshot. Also, there are walnuts in the volcano in treasure chests. U can access the rest of the volcano by using a watering can to cross the lava. Make sure the watering can is full or close to full before u enter (u can fill it up at that square well of water on the left inside the volcano entrance) because u never know when u might need water to cross a pool of lava! Also def bring spicy eel and other food bc there’s some very powerful monsters in the volcano

A boots FYI - you can transfer the stats from your purple boots to any other pair you might have (or that you buy at the adventurer's guild.) You use the sewing machine at Emily's - just put the boots with the desired stats (purple ones) on the spool at the upper right and the boots you want to transfer that stats to in the feed at the lower left :-) Edit: That Return Scepter that Krobus sells for 2 mill is pretty great to have - will bring you right back to your doorstep instantly from anywhere (even ginger island :-)

As a follow up there are a ton of puzzles for the golden walnuts, like those rock circles you hoed. There like darker “beveled” edge you can hoe, some you half to brute your wait though and the trees and find them. You can get banana and mango saplings and plants them. Those two torches where Leo (the island boy) lives it’ll want one of those fruits (don’t want to give to much away! But definitely find all the walnuts
I relate to this so much, I used to have no idea of what to do on ginger island the first time I got there, how to find the walnuts, etc, I just felt really lost you know Then I kinda searched for all the walnut locations on google haha, it was too hard for me
For the first area, to find a golden walnut you have to look for the little worms. The moment you get 10 walnut unlock the left area or the bridge to save the scientist and ultimately get ostriches
tips for volcano mines from a stardew perfectionist x2 on switch: the stones take an extra hit to open, so i always use bombs in the volcano mines, OR wear the napalm ring which turns enemies into bombs (that don’t damage your health but do blow up rocks)! i also bring speed boosts, since it can be hard to get to level 10 (final level) without them! i suggest eating one crab cake, which lasts all day and adds +1 speed and +1 defense!! lastly, those lava guys are annoying and tricky, so don’t get too frustrated if you die :p but try to block them with your sword if they rush you, the light yellow lava sparker guys will fly at you super fast and then cause an ANNOYING slow debuff, so yeah block with A! and GOOD LUCK! PS : don’t forget to use the wiki! it will save you!! good luck mama ❤️

So the TEA is that Pierre was playing around with this other girl when they were young, so Caroline cheated on Pierre with the Wizard and That's why Abigail is obsessed with Fighting and has purple hair. She's the wizards daughter!!. Then the wizards wife found out, and she ran away and Stole his magic ink. The Wizard tells you that she runs around cursing people because shes an ass, but she's actually trying to find + curse the wizard. Bad Bish to the Max!

i fully cheated and looked up all the areas for the walnuts! they're really hidden, and you have to actively fish and farm to find many!
