Hey there, It’s very easy to travel to other countries from Oman because it’s very well connected. You’ll find direct or connecting flights to other countries. And to some Gcc countries you can travel by road like UAE 🇦🇪 it’s very near.

We all need to follow guidelines put in place irrespective of where we come from, that way everything is smooth.
Am a Nigerian applying for job in Oman through an agent for which I paid higher amount to the agent,but to my surprise this evening when i tried to watch some online videos about Oman ,I saw some terrible videos of some Nigerian ladies that travelled to oman 2019 as a maiden,how she was traumatized,enslaved by the boss husband,& that as soon as you enter oman as a maid or other related work the company that pay your visa & ticket gat seize your passport from you,then you get attached to a master that you will work with,& you can be employed to serve so many masters,no rest,etc.
Please is the situation still the same now in Oman?

Visas which agents are ‘selling’ to you will not help you to get a job actually it’s illegal to enter Oman with a work visa and you don’t have a job. Employment visa is processed only by the company hiring you for free and you cannot work in another company for 2yrs.

You can apply for jobs with visit visa, once you get an offer company will change and give you employment visa valid for 2 years. That’s how some people do.

It's not easy these days to get job as a driver because i understand the job is Omanised but it doesn't mean it's impossible. You can but its not easy like before. You can try to as many places as possible and check in Qatar and Uae as well.
