- This is the Quickview Redux of the 1.9" Duratrax Fossil, which I believe to the the last surviving Duratrax tire, if in name only. It's a Redux because we run two sets of these, and have done so for over a year. Word of the day: interpolation.

get the twins testing both sets of fossils on different inserts, side by side😊
As soon as you read the tire number I thought 4077th mash unit and Klinger flying through the air on a hand glider wearing pink bathrobe and pink fuzzy slippers and everyone saying he looked like a pink flamingo flying through the air 😅 great video Mr C!
So Duratrax really is a fossil.... The scores put them in pretty good company, and it's always good to have choices.
I don't know about your math but your driving was exceptional..
I like the little 'finger' 😉 pattern 😁
Dora ran a set of Fossils until recently. Then AMain got Tusks in stock again.
I opened a box of old tires and foams yesterday and found a set of Duratrax fossils. I’m curious to see how this goes
I just got on board with the Death by 400 cuts with a new set of Canyon Trails from Jenny’s…. Still $20 for (4)
Fossils are the tire Ive always wanted to work good, because i love their look, but just never shine. Regardless of weight, insert, or rig.
Nothing wrong with metric, unless you have twelve toes!
I know that this isn't a question about the redux but I've heard that toeing out your front tires on a crawler helps get a tighter turn. do you know anything about that?
I prefer to run neutral toe, or if I have to, a little bit on toe-in, because that will put the outside tire at a sharper angle, which I think helps tighten the turn. Toe out turns the inner more (like ackermann) but the outside less, and I think makes for more scrub. But! I should really assemble two tie rods and run the Twins in both setups and see which one is preferable.
That’s a good idea
Work clothes? I live in Wisconsin and don't have summer/winter clothes separated.😂
Oh, so thats why we dont have a "Louise Fossil", cause the Fossil is still a thing
So, we dont know what compound it is?
They get 14th place, tied up with the RC4WD Interco Irok and the Vanquish Yokohama Geolander
They also have "Made in USA" on the sidewall, another piece in the "probably ProLine" puzzle. But they neither feel nor smell like G8, so the mystery continues.
