Thanks to your daughter for saying she doesn't really care for things that are too sweet. Neither do I, so I'm going to try the coconut acai. Also, it's really hard to find a shake without stevia (which I HATE). Thanks for this honest review!

I agree as well. I am usually 100% a vanilla girl, but NOT a fan of anything "bday cake" flavor. When Delaney said it was too sweet, I knew exactly what she meant. When you said it was more of a cake flavor, I got it. I trust your daughter and will be going with the coconut acai as well. btw, the kids were so sweet, I think I have a cavity, lol.

Same with me! I hate stevia and other sugar alternatives. I feel like they’re too sweet, and kind of a fake sweet, if that makes sense. I’d rather have real sugar than the fake, overly sweet stuff! I actually love how Ka’chava doesn’t add those fake sweeteners!

Honestly, chocolate is my go to. I like it so much that while I thought the others were good for those who like those flavors, I stick to chocolate. Now, between those two, I think it will depend on the person but I think I would lean towards Chai.

I almost clicked off the video when I saw it was kids giving their reviews, and then their honesty was so awesome, I actually took their opinions as legitimate. Then, with mom and dad's added opinions/flavor elaborations in there as well, I stayed til the end. Nice vid!

Glad I found this after seeing a Ka'Chava ad. Such great videos! Thank you so much. Definitely going to order for myself and my three grown kids. One is vegetarian so I always try to find tasty, soy-free nutritional supplements for her. I never leave reviews, but signed in to leave this. Your first video convinced me to try Ka'chava and this one, surprisingly, helped me pick my flavor. I didn't think taste could be articulated so well--especially by kids. LOL. I'm with Delaney. I'll take the berry/acai. Cutest kids ever, by the way! Great dad=great kids.😊

I have only had the vanilla so far, and it’s pretty good. Not great, but pretty good. I would say it tastes very “earthy,” almost like drinking flavored dirt. I did not expect it to be so chunky. Very different from protein shakes I’ve had in the past, which are much more smooth.
I chose vanilla first because with my experience with protein shakes, I prefer the vanilla flavor over chocolate. In my opinion, Gold Standard whey protein isolate vanilla ice cream flavor is delicious and much better than this. Next time, I’ll try the chocolate flavor and see if I like it better or worse, because I do not enjoy the chocolate whey protein very much.
For me, Kachava alone is not enough to be a meal replacement. I’m a small guy, only 150 pounds, but one Kachava shake is not enough to fill me up for 3 to 5 hours. Instead of a meal replacement, I often use it as a meal supplement. Or I add other things to it, like almond butter, coconut butter, whey protein, coconut flakes, chia seeds, etc to make about a 500 calorie smoothie. 240 calories just isn’t enough to fill me up most of the time.
However, Kachava is an excellent dessert replacement. Often after dinner, I crave sweets. Instead of ice cream or cookies, having a Kachava shake curbs that sweet craving. This is how I use it most often. I love how nutritious it is, and it helps me get nutrients that I normally have trouble getting, like potassium, vitamin A, iron, and fiber. It’s a great supplement for micronutrients which are hard to get the daily recommended serving.
Thanks for the feedback Bob as I am sure this will help others looking for peoples experiences. As far as being chunky, I was surprised to hear this. I use a shaker cup and the only time it is chunky is if I don't leave enough air at the top. As long as I do, it blends really well for me. I can then top of the water. Just a thought in case you had not tried that. Hope you like the chocolate if you try it!
@@Learnwithtravis Maybe chunky was the wrong word. It’s like drinking OJ with lots of pulp. I feel bits in my mouth when I drink it. I always blend it for at least 1 minute, so it’s not that I’m not mixing it enough.
Interesting. Makes me wonder if you got a bad batch or something. I have never had that experience. If you get the chocolate let me know if you feel that is the same way.

I randomly had your channel show up in my feed. I ordered Ka’Chava and I must say it’s delicious for how good it is. Especially with almond milk. I loved the Chai but Vanilla was excellent if you put cinnamon, a banana, or anything else. Chocolate was great too. The rest were good but those were my favorite. A few more bucks compared to the some of the other meal replacement drinks but if you really want something healthy and tasty I’ll stick with these. Thank you👍

I was searching for Ka"Chava taste reviews and stopped at your channel... I said yesss Teagan for having taste buds for healthy food at 7 years old.. Your children are the sweetest articulate, little testers.. I enjoyed their reviews🤗 I have the Chocolate and the Coconut acai. I can't get past the taste of the coconut acai I just don't like it, but I want all the good benefits it has to offer.. I've only tried the original two, but this makes me think I might try the acai, I'm not a chai person. When I first started my subscription, I got 1 bag of each vanilla and chocolate. Basically I detested the vanilla and loved the chocolate, but made myself drink the vanilla because I think there was a discount to ordering both. I switched to just chocolate and haven't turned back, even if it costs more. Of note, I'm like Delaney, I don't like sweets. I cut sugar out of my diet years ago, so that might be some of that.
While all the flavors taste good, I am a chocolate person at the end of the day. So that is what I normally stick to. You sound like you might be the same way but if you do get the other flavors, I hope you like them!
I just found this video and watched it for the Chai flavor. I'm about to see if you have the Matcha flavor video up. If not, may I suggest it next?

I have a bag of it. Tried it in a shaker bottle with water. I . Love green tea but not sure of this one as a shake. Will keep trying. Maybe Ice cold is what's needed. Doubt I can half 2 scoops with another flavor?
Update: I ordered both vanilla and chocolate to take advantage of the free shipping and opened the vanilla first because the chocolate’s pull tab broke 😭 so far I’ve had it once and I felt pretty full and good afterwards. Excited to see how I feel in a week or two. Thank you again Travis for the video!
Awesome! That is so great to hear. As far as the pull tab goes, make sure you pull towards the back side and not front. It may have taken me a couple bags before I figured this out… 😅

I am happy to hear this. I was on the fence about trying the other flavors (Chai, Coconut Acai, and Matcha). You didn't try the matcha flavor. My 7 year old likes vanilla first and chocolate second.
They liked them all but they will still pick chocolate or vanilla every time. Kids can’t get away from those flavors! Matcha came out later so I did make a quick video.😀

For that video, just water and ice. I have heard of people mixing different fruits or yogurt in and really enjoying it. Hope you like it!
Chocolate is the only one I mix with a banana. The rest are good by itself. Chai n Coco, I'll try next week. My favorite are:
💚🤍🤎All 3. It's not like skittles or milky way vs snickers. I'm sure I'll love the other 2. Also, I get better favorite if I put the Ka'Chava in the mixer first. I'll add 2 cubes of ice and water last. It stop sticking to the mixer after I did that💯

Great to hear her opinion was solid! I have tried Matcha and have a video. You have to like that flavor type as it is unique but I think they did a good job for what it is.
The Matcha is my go to. It is very easy to drink with just your choice of liquid and ice. For me, the flavours like chocolate and coconut acai can get a little tiresome on the tail end of the drink, but the Matcha just goes down like a mild tasty water, every time.

I love Indian food but chai makes me gag so I'm a little afraid to try it. Love the other flavors. I love how I have "coconut acai breath" after I drink that stuff. Lol. I always keep at least two bags of the stuff in reserve so I don't ever run out, plus I figure they'd be good for emergency food when the Big One hits. I live in earthquake country; California. :)

Are the ingredients exactly the same across all, just varying flavor profiles? Or, do they vary? I just tried chocolate Kachava today, for the first time, and loved it. I’ll be adding crushed ice and berries tomorrow, cannot wait!
I was flipping between the flavors on their website - www.kachava.com/LearnWithTravis and they all appear to be very close. Minor differences but basically the same from flavor to flavor.

Vanilla is mild, but great, you can add vanilla pure extract if you want more of the vanilla flavor.

If you like that vanilla cake taste it really could. We do it with chocolate all the time. A lot of ice, little mineral salt, and blend it up thick. Kids love it.

Can you? Yes... and it would be extremely healthy but... here are something to consider. Variety is important and eating other healthy meals with Ka'Chava could help bring balance to your diet. A serving of Ka'Chava is only 240 calories so if you only had 3 of those a day, your calorie count for the day would be 720 which would be way too low. You can run a BMR calculator to get an idea of how many calories you should have but you would need to modify to get your numbers. Hope that helps!

I am new to Kachava. My first order has been vanilla and chi. I like the chi but the vanilla was too sweet. Now I mix them together. Next order is chi and chocolate. Want to find out how the matcha tastes like. Please have the kids try it. Thank you

Hmmm very hard to describe a taste. Except a chocolate - everyone knows chocolate. But vanilla? You said it wasn’t classic vanilla but more of “a vanilla cake”. Açaí ? I do like good berry but I’m a strawberry girl. On the fence! And chai is familiar taste so a pass for me, how about their Matcha? Overall I can’t help but smile at your kids they are super sweet!

I just tried my first two flavors chocolate and vanilla. They are both pretty good to me. Agreeing with others it’s more vanilla cake than vanilla but still good. My reorder is tomorrow (I did monthly subscription) and I put chocolate and coconut acai for flavors. I was kinda nervous getting two new flavors I haven’t tried but I’m rethinking that. I have already tried chocolate so I figured one new flavor and one I’ve tried as a backup but maybe I’ll get two new flavors. Coconut acai sounds good but trying matcha makes me nervous. Chai shouldn’t be a pass for you being a familiar flavor maybe try it after all the flavors . I like familiar flavors . If it ain’t broke don’t fix it is my view on familiar flavors

Are you making this following the directions with the water or are you using some type of milk/dairy substitute?
In this video I was following directions and only using water\ice. With the chocolate we have blended all sorts of stuff into it and it tastes fantastic that way.
Can you get any samples. This is the only product that I have found that does not have stativa and oranges in it and it cost a lot..

What are you mixing the powder with…. Water? Almond milk??
For this review, water. If you want a richer taste, using something like coconut milk is really good.

You can control it pretty well with how much water you put in. If you keep the water light or let is sit for a really long time it can start to get thicker. But overall, thin it out to where you want it and don't let it sit forever and you should be fine!
If you were only able choose mud water or ka'chava, even with the differences. Which would you choose.
They are very different products so to really answer you I would want to know your goals, but without any content - Ka'Chava. It has a lot more going for it to help you health wise, tastes better by itself, and helps you make better health decisions every day.
I'm hypoglycemic so if I go a long time without eating I feel bad. How does this affect your blood sugar?
By all means, talk to your doctor, but this could be a pretty good match depending on your situation. Ka'Chava does not have a ton of carbs but enough to support blood sugar levels (I believe 17 net carbs). It also has a lot of fiber which is great and help the sugar not be absorbed too quickly and spike blood sugar levels. Basically, it helps support healthy blood sugar levels without shooting things too far in the opposite direction.

I wish I could answer but not sure on that one. The website shows what is in it. I would show your doctor but because it would be great if you could still have it!
I’m a religious Ka’Chava user and the chai is beyond good. Literally like a milkshake if you put almond milk instead of water. It is a bit expensive but as with most things, you get what you pay for.

I hear ya. Something I like to suggest is replacing another cost. Is there a bad habit, snack, or unhealthy meal you can replace? Make the cost a wash but much healthier because of what Ka'Chava provides. Just a thought in case it opens up options for ya.

Sure did. Just ice and water. When I make chocolate I usually fancy it up but not with the testing in this video.

I do. I feel more stable, energetic, and like my body is ready to go. I guess what I am saying is less dips, fatigue, and feeling of being wore down. Probably why I have stuck to it so long.
