    Great job Tiffany. I can't wait to experience the Dalton. Safety is key and glad you took the extra time getting up the cut. Thank you for all you do.

      Thank you! It's so important we drive for others as well as for ourselves. When you come up here, please hop in behind someone willing to teach you edicut and corners.

    Enjoy your videos. My son and I drove the Dalton this summer so it’s fun to reminisce when you mention the names of the road. Safe travels!

    I always carried bottles of red heet either me. Pop off the cap poke a small pin hole in the foil and use it to spray the alcohol into the brake drum to thaw the brake shoes from the frozen brake drums. Sometimes a hammer tap will work but other times it wouldn’t.

    • @DaltonDarlinAlaskaTrucking
      @DaltonDarlinAlaskaTrucking  6 місяців тому

      We use the hammer technique. I've never actually seen anyone put any fluids on drums to break them free. Interesting.

    Is your truck deleted? If not how do you keep the def from freezing up there?

    • @DaltonDarlinAlaskaTrucking
      @DaltonDarlinAlaskaTrucking  6 місяців тому

      It is not. That system is definitely a problem at colder temps. But the truck stops regenerating at a certain temperature. So that helps us avoid some problems.
