Don't you have a portable, heater for Olie pan and the transmission reservoir to help keep them warm? Anyway how are you doing so far this new year. In Alaska are they forcing the truck drivers to go to all electric semi trucks, like the state of California. Sincerely! R.S.V.
There are plugs on the truck that keep the fluid up to temp when plugged in. As far as I know, electric is a difficult thing to accomplish up here. These temperatures (-57F this month) make for poor battery life as it is. We take measures for our smaller batteries that extend the life... but it seems dangerous to rely on only them. Unfortunately, I don't know much about this topic.
