The atmosphere Anderson creates in his stories along with the image he projects of himself as being completely indifferent to danger, is why his stories are so enjoyable. Thank you, for reading them so very well!
I am glad to say that I am a heir from Kempakarai village and still I have my ancestral properties in that village, my grandparents live there and I visit the village atleast once in a year The regional temple festival celebrated there once in a year will be superb I will always proud to say that the atmosphere of the village brings peace and the freshness of the air keeps one healthy
The authors words and your voice make for a perfect Friday evening escapist fare. I absolutely love the work you’ve done with these audiobooks. Heartfelt thanks and appreciation ❤
I recently found these stories and have been rivited to listening to them ever since..In today's world ,is there such brave men willing to risk there life to help the Indian people?..Your narration sir is excellent , your dramatization makes for superb listening , thank you for taking the time to provide such great entertainment!
I've listened to a lot of KA stories, but the description of the scene in the beginning of this one is by far the best. His tales are so riveting that it makes it really easy to overlook his skill as an author.
The gift of a writer, unless read by ones-self, is only as good as the gift of the narrator, in my opinion. Your gift, as a story-teller of the hunting of these great predatory cats and the brave men who sought to stop their predations, is of unusually high quality. I could listen to your them until the proverbial cows came home: big cats permitting! Thank you. Best regards, Tim.
At 20:51 he says a normal tiger will not leave a tempting, unguarded bait alive. Then, at around 22:19 he says that a tiger rarely ever kills wantonly. Perhaps what he should have said was that tigers are intelligent and temperamental animals, just like all other cats, that they enjoy killing whenever it suits them; that sometimes they will eat their kills and at other times they do the deed and move on, not feeding on it or even returning to it later. That kind of thinking does not, of course, apply to maneaters which are usually highly intelligent regarding humans and are much, much harder to correctly identify and kill unless they are killed while eating a human corpse. Anderson was no daisy....and that's a fact.
Since I have found these stories I keep listening them over and over especially time when I'm getting ready for bed I think he is great at the stories love them which day was them new ones❤❤❤
Mr. Kenneth gave every possible detail about the ground reality in his vigils, read it before but listening to audio was a must when read by Mr. viraj the best narrator/reader came across till now on UA-cam. the story is surely one of the best man-eater tales I will give it rank 3 after chowgarh tigers(my favorite) and husdorga and holalkere man-eater although all stories on this channel are great. Keep it up.
Blimey, this might be one of my all time favourites, and I've never heard it before! Definitely the best of Anderson. It's odd to me that he is no where near as well-known or revered as Corbett...certainly in 'Western' circles. I would assume that his deep and steeped relationship to the local Indians, who he made sure to acknowledge and elevate, was what gave Corbett more of a lasting legacy in the history of the sub continent, whereas (although this is certainly a simplification) Anderson was known more for his books and nothing deeper - although, again, that is probably grossly unfair. I also wondered if they ever met, seeing as there would be a cross-over of 40 years or so in their lives. Fantastically well-read Mr Singh; great emphasis and speed at the right times and I enjoyed the jungle sounds too. Thank you. Ben
I will agree with you Ben. Mr. Anderson could never quite get to the degree of popularity and esteem accorded to Mr. Corbett and has always been in his shadow as far as success with the written word goes too. I can say with a good amount of certainty that they never met. Corbett's exploits are legendary, well documented and corroborated by secondary sources. As you are aware, he was very close to the seat of power in British India, so many prominent officials and administrators were part of circle of friends (Indian as well as British) besides being close to the local, common villager as well.
Thank you Mr.Singh! One of KA's classics for sure. The stalwarts like Byra and Ranga, a hungry tiger, a tusker, a bear, all make an appearance. Great entertainment and full of reams of fiction but who cares?!
@@selvalorestudios Thanks Mr Viraj Singh. I would like to request you to record The Man eating leopard of Rudraprayag. Have a great day and a very happy festive season. Warm regards.
Sir,your narration style is excellent and your every word releases an impact on the listener's mind,we want to hear more ,there are still more stories from Kenneth anderson ,only one bad luck is that we have to wait a very long period to find a new one from SELVA LORE
@@selvalorestudios You are most welcome, sir! These are my favourite novels to read, I have every Jim Corbett book out but would love to know some other authors you recommend. Honestly your narration makes it though, very much sets the scene and adds to the stor, you are very talented. Keep up the fantastic work because we love it!
Fine work on the narration Mr. Singh. I enjoy these stories as much as anyone, but I would take some of the incidents described here with a grain of salt.
Even though he uses a bit of writers freedom K.A. is credited with 8 Tigers and 2 leapords on government records. He will always be in the great Jim Corbetts large shadow
I love these stories but I always wonder why does he always insist that tigers and leopards have no sense of smell? They do and they use it for various things, it’s not their sharpest sense and not necessarily used for hunting but they do have a sense of smell.
You're right! These were written in the 50s and the scientific consensus was maybe not so well established on these things and Anderson, much like Corbett who also claimed Tigers have no sense of smell, were going purely on their field experiences.
@@selvalorestudiosindeed now it's proven that they do have. KA has also accepted that he has been surprised many times to understand how tigers and leopard located where the quarry was
In my opinion, Anderson has tried to copy Jim Corbett's descriptive writing style instead of inventing his own. Be that as it may, he never achieved the fame of Jim Corbett. However, in Kenneth's favor, I think that some of his adventures and bravery surpass Corbett's.
Bellicheck is gone and overrated! They only won because of Brady! Period! They will lose for years. Belecheck couldn’t even get a call from an NFL team! Carrol is a better fit for Jets than Vrabel.
The atmosphere Anderson creates in his stories along with the image he projects of himself as being completely indifferent to danger, is why his stories are so enjoyable. Thank you, for reading them so very well!

Finally, after a long waiting period. Your voice puts the right touch on to these amazing stories. Please also read some of Peter Capstick's works.
