He has the same face as my son, who ten, obviously a younger version. His hair is at his hips lol, he refuses to cut it. He had it long before, at 6 he cut it short , like Tony stark lol, then grew it back with no cut since, but his hair is a little curlier and fuller then this kids was. They have the face and hair to look awesome no matter what they do, nit from me, he has mom's hair and face, I have the strong face of an Irishman, but his mom js native and Italian, so great hair , perfect skin, and the softer rounder face for whatever he wants to do. Lucky kids lol

Just needed a soft perm to give volume & he could’ve had what he wanted. My hair is straight & medium thick but has no volume, I’m now 61 & permed my hair myself all through my teenage years & it would end up with the type of volume this guy wants for the type of cut he chose.

Agreed. It was totally possible. would rather the hairstylist just say they don't know how to do this style, instead of talking him out of it, and doing whatever the heck they want.
But instead he had all that hair to work with, and then cut way too much off, and now his client has to grow it out to get closer to what the barber should have done in the first place.
as if a kid can afford regular perms & maintenance. Achievable, yes but financially viable? No.
@@leonaj.5835 You can learn to do it yourself pretty easily and it's way cheaper - very realistic. Getting it professionally done for that amount of hair is a waste of money and it doesn't even save much time because you still have to go there and wait the entire time lol. I learned how to when I was his age (I'm only in my 20's now). Otherwise, my hair was just ugly on me no matter what hairstyle I did because it was affro-ish. Since then, I changed to Keratin treatments because it give me the look I want now, but both really aren't hard to learn. Just gotta make sure you're somewhere well ventilated and with fans. He's a guy, doing treatment on that amount of hair is cakewalk compared to women with their amount of hair. That I can understand going somewhere to get it done.
Hair cutting is really an art form….you sculpture the hair. This kid has a baby face and the cut looks good on him 😊

This is the second time I've watched this guy's videos and both times he just didn't give them the cut that they wanted.
Granted, he may not have been/may not be super experienced in perms like a kevin luk who does a ton of them. So he did the best he could with the clients hair type being different than the photo

Well, the only alternative to finding a barber who could do this, would be to go to a salon, but many males don’t feel comfortable going to a salon. So it’s a great service you provide. More barbers should be artistic like you, rather than same old, same old. Beautiful work!!

I would have added interior texturizing and a bit less on the edges. It would have given him more volume like he wanted. The inner structure can support that fullness. Also you don’t need as much product either.

This is why I never go to hairstylist they never listen. You told him what you think he should do and intimidate him into a modified version of what he wanted. Hairstylist ego's think they need to advise...instead of doing the cut they ask for. You obviously can cut good, but you have the same ego that most hairstylist have and the reason why most people are doing their own hair now days.. Bleh
