My latest two are definitely lazy ❤. BB is so cute when he is grumpy
I am always switching up my girls, Harriet and Clementine's home. I also make mealtimes a scavenger hunt so they are moving more. I also built a loft with two ramps and made it the hay station and they love going up and down and Harriet will even jump down from the loft. The girls also love having fun play in their playpen and switch up different tunnels and fiddle sticks.
My two boys are about five now. The sweet spot regarding floor time seems to be every other day. Ptolemy, silent P is more active and popcorns a lot. Wilbur not so much but will trundle more if he can catch a snack! The 5 x 2 c&c cage seems too small now, I'm going to extend it to 3 x 5 soon. Love my funny boys❤
Thanks Scottie!! I would be lost without your health advice. Here in the UK at the moment I am finding it impossible too find a vet private or other for even a health check. They are only seeing emergency cases and the P.D.S.A ( charity) is the same so your advice is literally life saving and so important. There is going to be alot in this position so thankyou for all your hard loving work on behalf of all Piggies everywhere.
Hey ..early for once ..flor time ( safe ) ..build a gym with treats like lettuce,peppers scattered and they will look for it ,its even fun looking at them having fun .
Give them space and a pal! Also it's best, as you say not to have too much clutter. Great video 👍🙏❤️
Yep, there's nothing better than a huge cage for keeping the piggies exercised. My piggies used to just sit in a corner when I put them in a big exercise pen and then when I put them back in their cage, they were galloping round it and popcorning like mad😂, so I make sure they live in huge cages and they love playing in them as well as sleeping in their hideys etc. Brilliant video, Scotty. My Pip is 8 so he doesn't move like he used to. I changed to fleece so his feet wouldn't get bumblefoot. I'm giving him metacam and bene-bac (hard to find in brick and mortar shops). Thanks for this.❤💯

You should be able to find benebac on Amazon and Petco online probably chewy also. And obviously Metacam is by prescription. Online pet pharmacies are very convenient. You just have to put in your vet information and they will get the prescription verified. I use California pet pharmacy which I do believe ships Nationwide
Mine have the whole bedroom but only have a quick run around the return to their beds ..or cage ..they have things to hide in outside the cage play things ..but still prefer their safe cage and bed full of hay ..they run about fir 5 miutes thats it
My two girls are constantly zooming about lol. They are very active.
I always think that animals need their space, to explore and enjoy their lives. Another well thought through video ❤.
And of course GUS is a handful by himself
My Joe was a lazy pig. He lived until he was 5 and a half and he only popcorned and zoomed when he was very young. He would come out of his cage at floor time just to get a pea flake from me then he returned to his cage. His buddy was out zooming and popcorning all over the place, but Joe preferred to plod about his cage eating and sleeping. 😄

Scotty doesn't breed animals. He volunteers in rescues and fosters many piggies. Adopt don't shop is his way of life 😊
Scotty keeps almost exclusively male piggies. He'll take in a female foster from time to time if theyre a medical foster tho.

im getting my piggie neutered tomorrow (got him off a family friend that didnt want him anymore and had him in a very poor situation, alone) so in about 6 weeks he can finally have a (girl)friend!! im so excited for him
