Creator(s) of the map: Luffaren
Often considered or known as Luffaren's first ever Source map, this is actually not entirely true... his very first map was ze_blackmesa_lambda, however it is almost never played, and I'm not even sure if it had a CS:GO port of any sort. Regardless, it is by far Luffaren's earliest zombie escape map that still has a lot of rotation on the servers. Infiltration features a medium to long escape route that often branches out in multiple paths, requiring multiple choke points to be held at various times.
The ending sequence with the helicopter has always fascinated me, because it stops around 4 times near the edge of the canyon, so zombies still get a good chance to board the helicopter and wipe out humanity.
Overall a great zombie escape map, showing Luffaren's talent even 10 years back!

As a matter of fact, I wasn't 😛. I think the helicopter ends up bugging a little from time to time, killing players supposedly 'blocking' the func_vehicle (and thus is a setting that kills any player doing so, even if not on purpose). It happens very frequently when you get stuck in a tight angle or corner, and on maps in CS1.6 as well.
I started to play this mode 3 years ago, for 5 months I have not played because the server on which I was playing went offline. Now I cry every day and wish the server would be online again.

@@luqmanf.r.9134 Nope, I played it on my crappy old laptop and it still runs albeit really badly. Still, if you have PC that can run CSGO smoothly then just lower your settings and you'll be fine.

you can just connect to the ip using console, search up zombie escape server in gametracker. The website contains list of server and its ip. You can find the one near your location and play there if you want to have a good ping

@@pikiness Do note that joining a zombie escape server (especially if you are new) takes a lot of download time. As you need to download character models and the content of the server and whatnot.
You can however, download the file instead, not in game. Usually its faster to me to pre download the server file and then put it in my cs go files, since if you download in game it can take up to 30 minutes. Its because often community server especially zombie escape need a lot of stuff to work.
If you're confused on how to do it, feel free to search the server's discord server. You can just type it in google, server name + discord and it will give an invite link. In the discord im sure the community will be more than happy to explain stuff such as download and the game mode
Make sure the server you're trying to join are in similar time zone as you. Because if you're playing in server with different time zone, you will find no one to play with.
Does the downloading of the map take long? Like when you enter the server. It takes really long for me and my internet is fine.
Hmmm, some servers have a very low bandwidth enabled by default, which indeed results in a very slow speed no matter how good your internet speeds are. If you're having trouble downloading a map, you can always try to find it online (just google it). Here's the one for this map: gamebanana.com/maps/196141
You won't always find ported versions on Gamebanana, but you can often find them in download packs from numerous servers (like GFL or Mapeadores, to name a few).
