Dear Mr Organic Chemistry Tutor, I am very close to giving you my money for the Patreon subscription because I am in great debt to your videos. Thank you. Sincerely, Mr Organic Chemistry Student
you probably dont give a shit but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I would love any tips you can give me
Hey bud don't fret over not having viral level numbers of views, Chemistry professors are jealous and don't want to advertise lecture videos better than theirs.
I really want you to know that you helped me and many of my classmates. You are able to teach something in a few minutes what was failed to be taught to us for hours.
I'm chronically tired but I'm trying to study stuff for a project. They way you slowly explain everything in simple steps and the calmness of your voice really helps. Thank you.
Thank you so much for what you do! I am tired of going into a classroom in the hope of learning something. No matter the class: Biology, Math, Chemistry, what I have found so far is a professor reading a PowerPoint out loud. Now I use my time in class to go over the notes I take from your videos. Thanks to you, in those hours I will be giving away only my hard-earned money to pay for tuition, but not my time.
I am always expose to deep knowledge when ever I go watch most of you videos Your videos as big time change my way of reading and thinking for good Thanks so much man
According to the arrhenius equation the units of A should be the same as that of K but we know that the units of K depend on the order of the reaction while the units of A are (time^-1) so how do we explain this?
A simpler math would be as follows: If K1=A.e^(-Ea/RT1) And K2=A.e^(-Ea/RT2), dividing eqn2 by Eqn1 K2/K1 = e^(-Ea/RT2)/e^(-Ea/RT1) Or K2/K1 = e^{-Ea/R*(1/T2-1/T1)} Then you can do everything else
With due respect sir, your teaching is simply great. But another channel named PHYSICSWALLAH is also very good, with whom I find easier. Not to make any comparisons, I must say that your hard work is helping us a lot. I really like your videos. Thanx a lot for your help...😊
can anybody please explain me the part from 3:10 - 3:22 .is he saying that since its numerator is an exponent and negative it will give an inverse value which will decrease the rate? thank you in advance and good videos btw keep it up,bro. :)
Sir, can i get reply, actually what i need to understand that from where we can get the value of k constant when we have value of temp, temprature rate and change in concentration of reactants and products, but don,t have value of A( frequency) , Ea ( activation energy) etc, as to get value of Ea by process u told us in video we must have the value of k constant first. How to measure it please.
Sir if you have the values of k and the temperature, and you are asked to graph then find the slope and after we are asked to find the ln A sir what to do?
It's not that necessary to remember all these three different forms. If we understand this equation : log(k2/k1) = Ea/2.303R × [1/T1 - 1/T2] properly, we could derive other two as well through some simple mathematical operations. By the way, it was a great explanation.
Can someone please calculate the activation energy needed to produce H2 gas from urea compared to the energy produced by burning H2 to produce H2O. I'm trying to figure out if burning H2 gas releases more energy than is consumed. I'm pretty sure it produces a positive energy gain. I've heard that urea is good for producing H2 gas because it takes less energy to split a urea molecule than it does to split a water molecule. I'm not trying to be lazy, I just don't understand where to get the figures to plug into the equation for each element. Maybe I don't understand it at all, I'm sure someone will tell me. Once you get the fuel mixture right it will be possible to run your car or whatever you want to run on H2 gas using your urine. Thank you.
Thank you ....but If I have K values (e.g: 4.7 x 10^-5......2.0 x 10^-3......3.0 x 10^-2 ......etc)How could I represent it on graph ......can any one HELP please ????

Please note that at 13:59, the equation should be 1/T2 - 1/T1
Thanks for clarifying for I was wondering about that. If it was 1/T1-1/T2 there'd be no minus in front of (Ea/R)x(1/T1-1/T2). Correct?
correct
I thought that was right when you apply that negative to the inside values?
Dear Mr Organic Chemistry Tutor,

Naah you wrote correct it will be t1 only it’s in Cengel books too
thank you for giving me the "ohhhhh" moment SO many freaking times you deserve the world dude. I would have a 30 in chem if it weren't for you

I really want you to know that you helped me and many of my classmates. You are able to teach something in a few minutes what was failed to be taught to us for hours.
solid. professor didnt give a singular care about the mathematical ways to get behind certain equations. ty for the great vid
This guy is the best for both maths and chemistry, very thorough, definitely recommend!
and physics!
You deserve a Nobel prize ! You are helping us is a lot . Much love from Ethiopia❤
I'm chronically tired but I'm trying to study stuff for a project.
They way you slowly explain everything in simple steps and the calmness of your voice really helps. Thank you.
I didn’t know how to solve for K in my mid-term and now I’m prepared for it if it’s in my exams!!! Thank you!
Thank you so much for what you do! I am tired of going into a classroom in the hope of learning something. I am currently taking Chem 2. Thank you so much for what you do.
Same, 2nd exam on the 14th
Same, chem exam today
same, chem exam tomorrow
bruh, you're better than my chemistry professor who has a PhD. thanks!
Better than Khan Academy
100% agree!!
Agreed!
True
True but let's just appreciate Sal walked so that he could fly!
I mean they're both amazing.
I wouldn't downplay sal for any reason.
I agree with Dan Morgan. Best chemistry videos around.
This guy is a genius! His teaching style can be comprehended by the dumbest of the dumbs. Thank you so much guy
All my Chem doubts are solved by him!!
This just saved my IB chemistry coursework
You deserve a noble prize.much love ❤❤ from kenya
These videos are attached to my chemistry lecture as study aids 😊
You're a god send. Seriously.
I am extremely impressed with how you did this
17:17 thank you! Writing these in my book

best ever explanation on Arrhenius
I'm so glad you exist. 😭❤️
Thank you so much. I've been having a really difficult time with chem but since I came across your videos they have been truly helpful
You are super good. Keep it up, sir. Honestly.
Thank you for the best explanation in the whole world.
This video was wonderful. Thank you!
This man is wonderful ✅. He explains perfectly
Thank you so very much.. you definitely keep in school.
Khan academy is better overall but when it comes to chemistry no one is better than this guy, trust me !!!!!
According to the arrhenius equation the units of A should be the same as that of K but we know that the units of K depend on the order of the reaction while the units of A are (time^-1) so how do we explain this?
This is perfect, I can't thank you enough.
Segment at 8:43 was brill! Cheers
13:37 (1/T2 - 1/T1)
thank you. your explanation really helped me
Saved my life! Thank you soo muchhh!
Hey, you teaches so good, love from 🇮🇳
at 5:45, when conc. of A increase, won't collision frequency of A molecules increases (Z increase), hence a larger value of k i.e. rate constant?
Bro thank you but im really dumb to get it that fast maybe i will process it 1 at a time but you explained it very well. Much love!
Thank you so much. For some reason it dawned to me how Arrhenius Eqn is so similar to Clausius Clapeyron one.
This guy is getting me through College
living legend. Thanks a lot
Thanks bro, you explained it better than my Prof. This is good, but somehow also very sad...
You have different equations for K2 which is really confusing me. 13:59 its (1/T1-1/T2) and at the end its (1/T2-1/T1). Which is correct?
Did algebra myself and its t2-t1. Good to note that is wrong and leave a caption tho
Thanks for letting me know.
Joseph Allande ...due to this changes sign will change....this is right
Thank you for being my chem hero! Can you please do more GRE vids?
Better than khan academy or any fu*k academy ....on jst 50sec i subscribed ur channel
Priyanshu Nero same here
Hi, can someone tell me why at 14:30, you would multiply both side by -R/Ea instead of -Ea/R
Because you want to cancel our Ea and R on the RHS, there is no point in squaring the terms
the best ever explanation
thank you so much
when you are calculating something in the exponential term, the units should all cancel because it should be unitless, just keep that in mind.
Thank you sooo much brother!
A simpler math would be as follows:
If K1=A.e^(-Ea/RT1)
And K2=A.e^(-Ea/RT2), dividing eqn2 by Eqn1
K2/K1 = e^(-Ea/RT2)/e^(-Ea/RT1)
Or K2/K1 = e^{-Ea/R*(1/T2-1/T1)}
Then you can do everything else
With due respect sir, your teaching is simply great. But another channel named PHYSICSWALLAH is also very good, with whom I find easier. Not to make any comparisons, I must say that your hard work is helping us a lot. I really like your videos. Thanx a lot for your help...😊
Thank you for all your help!
Is we taking capital log in the formula for activation energy In the place of natural log if not then why
wtf is a capital log?
thanks sir its help me a lot... god bless u sir
What about finding the frequency factor A,
Does it change if the temperature or rate constant change?
🆙
Please answer me I have an exam tomorrow🆙
can anybody please explain me the part from 3:10 - 3:22 .is he saying that since its numerator is an exponent and negative it will give an inverse value which will decrease the rate? thank you in advance and good videos btw keep it up,bro. :)
thanks alot, this was really helpful
4:45 -5:42 may save your hundred hours.
I highly doubt Ill get an answer right now, but how do you derive the t90 value from T1and T2 and K1 and Ea??
Sir, can i get reply, actually what i need to understand that from where we can get the value of k constant when we have value of temp, temprature rate and change in concentration of reactants and products, but don,t have value of A( frequency) , Ea ( activation energy) etc, as to get value of Ea by process u told us in video we must have the value of k constant first. How to measure it please.
Does anyone know how to measure K(T) from DSC data? Thanks
Sir if you have the values of k and the temperature, and you are asked to graph then find the slope and after we are asked to find the ln A sir what to do?
what actually is ln(K) on the graph if i was to plot the epoxy cured in DSC ? Is this second derivative of heating rate?
if Ea = - R*slope, what is the unit of the Ea? it confuses me, because slope doesn't have unit, but R's unit is J mol-1 K-1 (8.314 J mol-1 k-1)
It's not that necessary to remember all these three different forms. If we understand this equation : log(k2/k1) = Ea/2.303R × [1/T1 - 1/T2] properly, we could derive other two as well through some simple mathematical operations.
By the way, it was a great explanation.
hey so i wanna ask can we use thing one to calculate all Ks in different types of rate of reactions
14:05
Why is it T1 - T2?
It should be [ (1/t2) - (1/t1) ]
Can u solve this one
Lnr2/r1=E/R(1/T1-1/T2)
Dude doublecheck on K2 because you concluded differently than what you have wrote in the end. I'm talking about the 1/T1 and 1/T2.
Please what what happened to the lnA before comparing with the equation of the line
Thanks, good explanation
nastiest equation in chem so far
😂😂you aint seen nothing yet
Thanks my proffesor
this guy is a legend
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
you a genius bro
very useful !!! easily to understand. Thank you so much !!!!
Qustion, what are the 2 kind of activations energy?

Does anyone know what is the reaction that its rate decrease with increasing the temperature? and which one is it?
Absolute legend
I noticed that A is part of the Arhhenius Basic equation,
But it isn't mentioned in the equation at different temperature.!!
(from the slope)
🆙🆙🆙🆙
thank you soooo much!!!!
you are the best
Thank you! This was really helpful! :)
Excellent
so helpful
What units for R do you use?? J/mol*K?
yes
J/K/mol
or JK^-1mol^-1. Joules per Kelvin per mole
can anyone answer me please. Can InK be the pressure(kPa)?
ITS INDEED VERY HELPFUL THANK YOU
Super good dear
thank you
