My god people, the music was not to loud you can hear the instructions just fine. The point of the video is to help beginners learn and Candace did a Grand job. If the music is what all you can focus on then don't watch it!!! How about say something positive and leave the negative out of it! The quality of the production is very professional, Ikwork in video production, and the instruction and presentation of the information is great. So you don't like the music...Boo Hoo!!! Its so easy to bitch from behind the computer screen!!! I found the video very interesting and inspiring and entertaining. I liked every bit of the video wonderful and look forward to watching them all and any more you make!!!!
I have watched many people weave. You are the first person to make sense to me. The angle of your video and how you explain what you are doing makes it so easy to follow along! Thank you for sharing!!!
I really like your teaching but it is hard to listen to background noise. Are you still teaching? I have been a weaver and designer since 10 yrs. and am 85. I would like to see more of your work. Also patterns. Thank you.
I too am searching for the video which should follow after forming the rectangular or circular base, i.e. how to start working vertically from there - I keep searching but so far am finding only videos which have skipped that part and are showing decorative twining up above the first few horizontal weaves, without showing how to get to that point.
What is the name of the tool that is being used to tuck the ends under the weavers? I am looking to purchase something similar to it. Also would appreciate if anyone knows where to get one.
I fail to understand why just about every video these days, no matter what its source, has to have a background of the most irritating sound. If the video is vaguely sentimental, we have soft piano 'music' etc etc. I absolutely loathe it and it is not possible to just turn the sound down if there is no written commentary. Stop it, everybody! Other than that, which detracts greatly, the instructions are good.

this tool is called a packer, but it can also be used as an awl. You can find tools like these on the Weave-Rites website.
