- Great under makeup Korean SPF that doesn't leave white cast nor heavy or shiny residue. It proved to be the Sunscreen Holy Grail in the 2nd year in a row :) If you're looking for a good non irritating, quickly absorbing SPF for face, in this video you'll hear all about it. @@factcheckingyourmum and your mom is so right! I hardly paid attention to putting sunscreen on unless I was at the beach and probably didn't pay much attention to my hands anyway. Through my 40s and 50s I still looked fine and then I hit 60 and things started to change! Now in 4 short years I need a lower face lift and neck lift and my hands are blooming dark spots. Prevention is so key.
While driving - that's a great point as well, wouldn't think of it (while cycling yes although most of the times I wear gloves, but driving didnt think of it)

Thank you for all tips Olga! My favorite sunscreen which I started to use this year is from Asian skin care as well, it's from Purito Centella Green level SPF 50, it's mixed sunscreen, but without any scent. I love how it feels on my dry skin and not irritates my sensitive eyes. My favorite sunscreen for sure, no white cast nothing. 🙌

@@olgatoja Do so, Purito has so many good products. I bought it from Yes style, they also have many discounts. It takes time to get a delivery, but it is so worth it. I have a dry and sensitive skin, all my products are natural as possible, no alcohol, essential oils or fragrance.

I've heard that if you want your sunscreen to work properly, you have to apply a lot of it on the skin. Goss makeup showed in his video that the SPF in foundation cannot work because of the little ammount we apply on the skin. Is that true?

I’ve used this sunscreen from your recommendation, it is still my favorite. It is a little pricey, Elta Md’s sunscreens ingredients are impressive and not drying, so good for makeup wearers! If I try theirs, I’ll let you know how they compare!
Good to hear the sunscreen I recommendes works for you too 😊 I never heard of Elta MD, I just checked it out and no surprise - my eyes are on Korean and Japanese sunscreens and that one is from USA. Looks a little pricey too but I'll consider. Thanks!
olgatoja We will have to try and see, haha! I think it’s almost 2x the amount in Elta Mds, which makes up the difference. They have about 10 sunscreens, so I’ll look through the website and see which one it worth it!

I have not seen those ones in Canada. I like Vichy sunscreen. A nice cream and works well.
You can't buy them in the UK too, I need to order them online. I know Vichy and it's a good brand as well (slightly more pricey than Korean products though)

Dang I have the apieu sun cream otw and the original dr jart version. I treat them as more as primers since they have a greenish tint that takes down the redness in my skin. I usually pair with japanese sunscreens since those are super lightweight and easy to layer
Just ordered the innisfree mild sunscreen! Ive tried the orange tube before and found those to be quite thick (but no breakouts) so hopefully the mild is a lighter texture
I agree it feels like primer. I think if you pair it with another sunscreen it may work just fine. 😊
I never had the orange tube so can't compare. The mild is mild in ingredients, when it comes to thickness is not the lightest I've ever used but after application it loses its thickness and sink in nicely. The skin can breath and makeup goes on ok.

Thank you for this comparison! I haven't used Innisfree. Does it have a fragrance? Have you tried the Purito sunscreens? They have a mineral version: Comfy Water Sunblock, and a chemical version with Uvinal A Plus and Tinosrob.
I don't know if you follow Dr. Vanita Rattan but she said that since the purito sunscreen has tea tree in it (and it is a fragrant) and low percentage of zinc oxide, she does not recommend it.
@@nishtasnim Thanks for your comment. I'm editing my original response to you bc I just did a research into the 'Dr' you referenced, and she seems to be a bit of an opportunist scam. She's not an MD according to the AMA, and she presents her qualifications in a way that gets her what she wants ('credibility'), but in reality, she's a newly graduated researcher who promotes her parents cosmeceuticals. Furthermore, her dad evaded court proceedings when he was found of NHS fraud and even the BBC covered this fraud in 2005. No thanks. She's just taking advantage of a market segment who have little knowledge to vet her qualifications in the first place, and the fact that anybody can come on YT and tout their 'expertise'. Go to Reddit...there's plenty of feedback there from former patients who used her products and were paid to post 'after photos' using makeup, and others familiar with her money making 'business' scheme. I'm not interested in that at all.

Innisfree has a tiny bit of sunscreeny fragrance that goes away quickly. It never irritated or bothered me but I appreciate some people are particular about it for many reasons. I'll check the Purito one out!

It's a chemical sunscreen so it doesnt leave a white cast. Should be invisible on any skin tone.

I'm 41 and have given up on Korean sunscreens. Taiwanese and Swedish/European ones are just better. I have the burning-skin syndrome upon application as well.

Well, the Apieu one was 39SPF and was giving freckles... The sun hits the skin even through the clouds.

Honesty, as an American ignore the US regulations when it comes to sunscreens . They haven't been updated in ages. Its not that certain products aren't safe, the issue is that the US government has not bothered to review any of the newer sunscreen ingredients in a very long time, and if they don't review them they can't approve them. Many reputable dermatologists will tell you this. Europe has vey good standards you can go by, as does Japan. Both have way better sunscreens available than you can find in the US.
