- Tales From The Crypt - "All Through the House"
Saucy Joan is a murderous strumpet who wallops her husband to death on Christmas Eve and is then besieged by a homicidal maniac dressed as Santa Claus. Wonderfully dark episode from the '70s horror anthology movie, "Tales From the Crypt".
Joan Collins is absolutely stunning! Even to this day she still has her looks! One of the most beautiful woman of her time.
She was at top form in 1976 for her Star Trek appearance as Edith Keeler in "City on the edge of forever".
I remember my parents taking our whole family to the drive in to see this movie in 1972. I was only eight years old. This and the episodes in the movie scared the crap out of me! I remember it like yesterday! This is to awesome to watch it on UA-cam!!!
Loved this in AHS Apocalypse. They did a good remake of this scene.
Man what a babe; Joan Collins, Raquel Welch and Jayne Seymour make me wish I could go back in time. Classic beauties
Joan Collins is so beautiful. I love this movie ! A little corny but, it was 1972.
Amazing segment. By far my favorite story of the original Crypt movie.
Was always looking for this film! Thank You! More quality than in any modern movie. Joan is great! And best of all: The coolest telephone ever!
I cannot tell you how badly this scared the shit out of me as a kid! It still freaks me out... that Santa is something else!
i loved it as a child it did frighten me and i love it as a adult
Joan's gorgeous in this. Better still, she's even gorgeous 30 years later!
Looks like Santa was killing her by giving her a shoulder massage!
tjwdraws 😂😂😂
Great scene!
Joan Collins is an amazing, talented actress!!
Thanks a lot!
Years Later, the second episode of the first season of Tales from the crypt is a renactment of this
thanx for posting this... i was looking for a similar one but just discovered it was a remake of this one!
I think this is the best of the tales. Love it. Thanks for putting it on.
THIS IS CLASSIC THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
LOVE how the homicidal maniac goes right over to Joan's house.
Loved the version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen". I wished they bothered to play carols half so good now.
Always wanted to see this. Thanks for posting.
I went to go see this movie in the drive-in, we never saw disney or cartoons, dad liked to take up to the scary ones, thanks for posting.. brought back all those childhood fears and memories
Joan Collin's character was ahead of her time. More like the modern woman in 2013.
Oh! Nice one Joan. Merry Christmas to you too!!!.
That must have been one hell of a neck massage he was giving.
ɷɷɷ I Haveeee Watcheddd Thiss Movie Leakeddd Versionn Here : - t.co/SjZpZXw5gt
horror movies from the 70's were great
AHS APOCALYPSE
No, he had it right this is from the 1972 movie tales from the Crypt. In 1992 they made an episode just like this scene from the movie.
Nothing like a psycho killer santa to put a damper on your evening.
Oh! OH! OHHHHHHH WOOOW! Thanks, that really got the spot! Nobody can crack that but you!
Joan had the best hair of the 70s.
One of the best segments from the 1972 "Tales From The Crypt," movie featuring the beautiful Joan Collins, Sir Ralph Richardson & Peter Cushing. Joan was great looking then & she's still holding up rather well even now, at age 78! Don't hate her because she's still gorgeous.
I remember the one w/the blonde lady, she had to drag her husband out into the snow & the guy was out there..But Joan was amazing, that was pretty good..
Such a great little story for the night before Christmas! Joan picked an odd time to dispose of her hubbie! Love the way how we get a selection of Carols, too, from the best of the Amicus films.
Pure Scary Stuff!
Brilliant. Short yet effective!
Joan Collins is a goddess.
Same, it's the one that's two videos below this one, also called All Through The House. It's in 3 parts.
I nearly jumped out of my skin @ 5:45. Best Christmas segment EVER!!!
She should have called the police and blame her husbands murder on the santa maniac.
Joan is a beauty.🌹
watched this a few years ago, it was on again last nite been dying for it to come on, little did i know its on here lol great film
What I like about the "Tales from the Crypt" movie is that most of the main characters deserved the terrible fates that awaited them and you can sympathize for their victims. I feel sorry for the husband here, who clearly worshipped the wife whom he never suspected would kill him.
Christmas in the 1970''s we expected this most Christmas time murder and psychotic Santa's
The 90s one was sooo much scarier. :(
Nice crescent/star hat. Not the first thing that comes to mind during 'CHRISTmas' holidays. Can't say I've ever seen one on any Christmas tree either...
When I was a little kid it scared me so much I wondered what happened to the little girl.
I saw this episode when i was little SCARED the shit out of me, i remembered this episode for years lol
This is better than the adaptation in the t.v. series! I mean, having Santa look NORMAL makes it all the creepier!
this is an excellent 70's film from the amicus studios . they excelled in making anthologies were there were several short stories in the main film . other amicus films to look out for are .. / the vault of horror / doctor terrors house of horrors / the house that dripped blood / torture garden /
Joan Collins was never known for her acting abilities. Although she has put in some good stage performances.
this is one of my favorites
That's one gorgeous house
This is a classic!!
Merry Christmassage is what he calls it. Deadly.
American Horror Story
the blood is the same colour as the walls of the hallway and landing
Well, obviously not for everyone. The Crypt Keeper clearly tells them that he has NOT been telling of them of their future and that his chamber was "a place for those who died with repentince." Watch the movie again.
it's not xmas until you see this.
ALL of those people initially thought they were in the catacombs for one reason or other. Like most Amicus anthology films, there is a TWIST in the end where we find out the real reason. They all committed those crims, got killed and are now in purgatory, followed by an eternity in hell.
in 1989 they redid this with Mary Ellen Trainor as the wife & Larry Drake as Santa for the series.
Ye thanks it was Dig That Cat. I didn't finish it last time but I just watched it and the ending is really cool.
Robert Wuhl was also good in that episode.
Where the rest of it?! It was getting good!
merry christmas lol awesome.
i think both this version and the 1989 episode are both great, this ones simple but very creepy but the 1989 version is more over the top but so much fun
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
i like this better than the 90s version, at least it elaborated on her doom
Well, that sure is one deadly shoulder massage at the end. :D
I actually like this version better. It's more subtle and creepy.
The bad person always gets their karma in tales from the crypt stories, she killed her husband to run away with his life insurance with another man, but at the worst time possible, a man dressed like Santa escaped from a mental hospital and happens to end up at her house,
I can't believe she didn't try to use the homicidal maniac as an alibi! CSI would nail her for sure.
I saw a remake of this too, with a blonde woman, and the Santa was dressed more scarily.
@joancollins54 The second "CAROL' in "All through the House" is "Once in Royal David's City." I had a hard time trying to find the name of my favorite carol and one of the commenters said it is by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. So I went to Amazon(dot)com and searched through MTC Christmas albums and listened to the samples of each of their choruses--wallah!--and I found the right melody and the right title. You should if you are ever stumped!
No, just three. "And All Through the House," "Wish Your Were Here" and "Blind Alleys."
"Yes, Sgt. Rogers, sir." creepy as hell
i used to love this show. especially the movie.
i missed that zombie which is the host
Yes, the Robert Zemeckis ones are way creepier than these, especially with Larry Drake as the evil santa instead of my grampa lookalike.
Do you know the other stories that came with that one? I think there was one where the guy gets buried alive.
Actually, it's the first time I ever had this stupid "argument." I don't even realize why it's an argument in the first place, since THE MOVIE MAKES IT DAMN CLEAR THEY'RE ABOUT TO ENTER HELL FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE.
PS - Yes, I misspelled two words. Oh, the tragedy!
i find this shining examples of why you shouldn't lie to your kids and karma
it looks like she knocked over the white vase on purpose for dramatic effect. love joan.
I think i watched the wrong episode... on tv
it must have been a remake
WELL NOW I REALLY WANNA SEE THIS
Have to be honest, after seeing the HBO version first- doesn't everyone think it's scarier when the woman doesn't know the killer is on the loose? Will say this for '72, the Carol door reveal is scarier than the Carrie window reveal in '89. But again, for '89 - the ax is way better than bare-hands. As for Santa, this guy is creepier than Larry Drake, but he lacks the slow motion of really creepy killers (like Michael Myers). This one's much nastier but Mary Ellen Trainor was more entertaining.
WRONG!!! In the end, it is revealed that they HAVE done all those horrible things, got retribution for it and are now in purgatory, awaiting their eventual descent into hell. I thought the last five minutes made it clear...
England in the 70s was yet to go metric. But you're half right. They would have given his weight in stones and pounds (1 stone = 14 lb) rather than just pounds.
The cops would've only had to fingerprint the dead guy to realize that the psycho hadn't touched him. Assuming he was wearing gloves throughout, blood under her long nails would still match his !
I think she's Katy from Who Slew Auntie Roo(?). Another British horror film.
It was for insurance money. Remember the insurance brochure she takes out of the safe?
a true classic still make the hair stand on end
Damn, freakin' Joan Collins looks GOOD!
" I let him in mummy "
ha ha
pretty good.
WTF?! She can kick Linda Evan's ass up and down the mansion stairs, but Joan can't handle an old crazy santy?
hey is there more to this episode? it just seemed to end oddly
Oh, so this is where the other version, years later, comes from.
Hope she saved the receipts for his gifts!
that's because they are both based off the old ec comics from the 50s
That was hilarious!!! HA
Joan Collins of course!
because it is a DEADLY massage!!!
The daughter let in psycho santa. Hope she saved the receipts on her parents gifts.
sorry, but id the rest of this episode on here?? if not please post.
Oh thanks i got confused because when she does kill her husband i here the sound of a chainsaw in the background.
Being a good parent doesn't necessarily mean you are a good person
I prefer the horror maxim that bad things happen to bad people over the bad things happen randomly to dumb horny teenagers. Nothing to do with morals - it's just more satisfying to watch. Must go find some Stephanie Beacham after this.
I wonder if David Cameron watches tales from the crypt and pricks his conscience?
