- Welcome to another video and today I'm back in Zeepkist to build another track! This time the theme was HIGHWAY so I decided to build another evolution track that turns an empty peaceful highway into rush hour chaos! I love the little details Kosmo adds, even if everyone doesn't notice it makes my day whenever I watch these vids.
This map would be perfect for the boosters underneath to simulate an engine
There actually is a movie about people sitting in a total traffic jam: "Gridlock" or "The Great American Traffic Jam", in which a set of perfectly timed and placed accidents result in the highways around LA grinding to a total halt. It follows multiple small stories as people have their lives impacted by being stuck on the highway all day.
or Falling Down with Michael Douglas (he's also stuck in a traffic jam in LA... and loses his mind, then proceeds to go ape$h*t)
In-case anyone also had the idea: it's possible to shortcut this track in the sand. In the beginning, start riding the right wall the moment before hitting the second booster to jump over the curb; maintain 160 speed or higher while travelling across the sand. Near the end, slow down to 120-130 just before the off-ramp, ride up the side of the off-ramp, then fling the cart into the goal just before reaching the top. Hit a time of 34.483 via this method on the 3rd track.
@ the start, the moment you said rush hour the movies rush hour 1 - 3 came to mind (you never watched them? wow they are funny!. people not using turn signals those may be an optional extra when you buy the car. The turn signals is one thing down here in south africa we have the "normal taxi's" down here a micro-bus is also a taxi they will overload thrm and disregard a safe bus stop 5 meters away and will slam on the brakes in front of you.
I really enjoy these evolving maps because it's not the same monotony of single maps

I’d love to see a version of this where you take the exit to get onto the next highway and have to do all 3 one after the other in one track

For the Formula One Car: You can actuly buy Ferraris Used Formula One Car but It isn´t leagel to drive them on public rodes.

You should do a Quick Time Event theme one week. Full speed track where you have a bunch of paths and only one will work. And there is some sign on the ground right before telling you which one. With the warning being shorter and shorter as you go.
Of course, that really only works at the start. After people finish it once, the quick time aspect goes away in favor of just remembering.

Apparently there's supposed to be a real rush hour 4 that Jackie Chan hinted at and it's said to be coming out sometime this year. But that's based on a bunch of different internet articles so who knows.
Theme idea: We have this thing at home. Basically, taking movies or other ideas, and making a cheap copy. Inspired by the "we have mcdonalds at home" meme.
Track Ideas: Clouds, Dentistry, Donkey Kong
Wow rush hr 3 was basically the 401 in Toronto, you should have made a cheese going to the 407

Man, I don't know how things are in Canada, but where I live (Venezuela) the zeepkists are literally the bikers, just flying in the highways in the middle of the lane, crossing from one to another XDDDD

As someone from the Midwest we may not have that amount of traffic but we have crazy amount of road construction.

It'd be awesome if you could add a finish that would randomly change into a false finish or an actual finish.

I wasn't aware of the whole "recording brain" thing until I started doing it. I just thought it was an excuse people used but I was very wrong! As soon as you press record, your brain doesn't work the same...
Map idea, have a gaint center area that you go through multiple times and each time it deletes more of the floor
I've always wondered why you don't just record your initial validation? Then you don't have to worry about it in the lobby if your don't finish. I guess it probably pushes you to try harder, but yeah I always wonder that.

the netherlands does not use waterbarrels on the highway, so i think thats why they are not in the game

I do think it would be possible to wall ride a car and skip a lot of traffic. But you'd have to find a place to do it.

That F1 car is a road legal one I think, even in the uk. I saw that you just need to add a seatbelt, proper steering wheel and tyres, exhaust silencer and proper lighting for uk specs.
it's not road-legal at all, actually (no registration, no turn signals,...) ... that's why they went after him, but couldn't identify who the driver was, 'cuz he wore a helmet (as you do in a "formula" car)... everyone knows who the guy is, but cops couldn't arrest him because of the failed identification thing... like, he owns the formula car, ffs... he says it wasn't him, tho' ("trust me, bro"), so, yeah ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

it was in my country (czech republic), the "formula 1" (actually a Dallara GP2) is owned by the guy, he didn't steal it... but you can't really take it on a highway, legally (duh!)... his excuse? "It wasn't me" (even tho' everyone knows who he is, because he posts stuff online) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ he did it twice: in 2019, and in 2022... they (police) couldn't identify him, 'cuz he wore a helmet
