    Would like to run fresh care only without going through a complete cycle is there any way to do this? Also, when you want to just dry clothes a little more and you press the dry button it adds water to the tub is this normal?

    LG designed the lint trap way better than GE did with their 2 in 1.

    Will this machine alert you when the detergent needs to be refilled? Hard to tell when you're running low without disassembling the tray.

      Certainly, Mr. Gooch! You can receive an alert directly on your smartphone! In order to do so, the appliance must be remotely enabled. Please see page 41 of the owner's manual for more details: spr.ly/6056wE5gI. ^Chris

      @@LGUSASupport besides the smart phone alert, will the washing machine panel indicate no detergent as well?

    @LGUSASupport I've had this unit for a few weeks and have been praising how cool the lint trap design is. But a couple of days ago, for no apparent reason, I cannot remove the outer filter from the machine anymore. It feels like something is physically blocking it. I spent almost two hours with customer support and the best they could do was send me a link to this video that is completely unhelpful.

      @@LGUSASupport Just spent another 59 minutes on a phone call (I called the support number before you replied here) after wasting two hours with your chat support earlier today and they're sending a technician who doesn't come for a week. What a tremendous waste of my time.

      @@bengoldman my lint trap got stuck like this, turns out i didn't push the filter all the way through and click it into place so it was getting stuck on the front lip of the opening, had to take a screwdriver and push the filter forward to free it up. Did you ever get it fixed?

      @@goodprettycheap433 The guy they sent basically pried it open with brute force. Something had been slightly misaligned, which seems like poor design if that can happen. But we've been extra careful and it seems to be working fine since.

      I posted because when you are buying a unit and looking at the size it doesn’t list that it needs 4” behind and that makes a big difference.
