You'll like them. I was on the fence about the triangle shapes at the ends, but they are ok. I'd prefer it without those though. Overall, the quality is outstanding and installing it is easy if you take your time. The more attachment points you have, the straighter the extensions sit. I also recommend using larger washers so they grip more area. JB weld is really optional, but I wanted to add it anyway.
TheShaddix I am with you. Better to be safer than sorry. Also really loving the BBK, you truly got them for a steal. The color is great. Hope they have improved more as you have driven on them. That carbon LED option they have is pretty.....interesting?....haha

hey, I appreciate that. I have to admit, I don't really make enough videos to grow the channel like others do. But it's growing slowly. My goal is not really to be a full time youtuber, I just enjoy making videos now and then.

haha, yeah I used those to hold the lip up at some point, but masking tape is really all that you need! Would be funny (or sad) if that's what I used to hold the car up. It's my first time installing something like this (awkward and flimsy), so I had to learn some of my own lessons. And selling bs merch will never be a thing here. If something is good, I will recommend it. If it's crap, I'll make sure to not install it and will mention it in another video.
The front grill delete looks great. I don't like my MY17's grill and want to do something about it; however, I don't see any after market replacement that interests me. Any thought?
there are a lot of options for 15-17 models. Not so many for the 18+. The only good one for 18+ is the chargespeed, but it's around 700. For your car there are a few which I'd consider. But to be completely honest, if I had a 15-17 wrx, my first mod would be to get an 18+ front bumper as they made such a drastic difference on those, it looks way more aggressive.
@@khanh6903 yeah fits fine as far as I know. Not too expensive, but the paint will cost you around 300-400 depending on where you take it. Make sure you take it to a good shop because they have to do a lot of prep work like masking out the black center area, etc. It's really easy to mess up!
It's not hot here, only looks that way. It's been raining every day and I found a few hour window to shoot the video. But not going to complain! I do wish we had snow here, I'd have more interesting stuff to shoot.
Thanks! Honestly, it's super easy. To install the new bezels you have to take the bumper off and just unclip the stock bezels. The Sti bezels clip right in. The blinker housings fit into the high beam holes, but you have to use some liquid electrical tape around them to seal them.
I just started to follow your channel and also got an wrx sti; you are different and original, something that you don’t see in similar car channels. keep the good work and where did you get the side skirts extensions.
JB weld. Would not be a problem as you just unscrew the screws. All that the jbweld does is create stronger threads around the screw, it doesn't actually glue the screw in.
That only happened after I did the resonator delete. Before that it was just too deep and muffled. I am running a catted jpipe, so you can get even more whistle with a catless one and the res delete, but it might sound too much...
Well so far I'm only running a axel back r400 was hoping to accomplish that sound at some point in the next future. but so far I am not getting any whistle
@@drift4ever65 it's not an axle back, it's a cat back system. Axle back means your midpipe is stock and you only change the mufflers. You're not getting any whistle because of the reasons I outlined in my previous reply.
always on the fence with the wing vs no wing. I like the look of it (apr wing specifically), but don't think I want that image/attention on the street. I'll probably just dress the car up aggressively from the bottom and get a small lip for the trunk or keep it as is. A big wing is a commitment I am not ready for.
I liked the way the wrx felt after I got out of a 2018 sti. The engine just felt much quicker at lower rpm. The price was good too for what you get (I got a base model), but I wouldn't mind paying 10k more for an sti if that's what I wanted. I just couldn't find anything other than the brakes worth the extra money. My plan was to mod it fully, so starting with a basic car was perfect.
@@edgararanda1468 well, just ask yourself what it is you're missing in the wrx that you'll find in an sti? It'll feel slower stock vs stock. It'll cost a lot per month so you're back to making payments for something that's not even an upgrade to the wrx, more like a lateral move.
