I was with her mom in the amazons researching soiders just before she died
It is true. I was the gun.
So every time you talk it sounds like badly dubbed ADR?
its true, im the amazon
it’s true i’m her mom

This is literally the first comic book character to get a movie without having her own comic book. Even Jimmy Olsen has had his own book.
Imagine they were to make a movie about the Superman character "Madame Krypton" featuring Supergirl (Kara Zor-El), Power Girl and Cir-El, except they only appear in their costumes for one scene that's a flashforward.
Somewhere out there in all the timelines Carrie Fisher is crushing this role in the MCU.
The 90's cartoon never explained Web well. She just teleported people in and out of her pocket dimension, and was sometimes friends with the Beyonder. I just assumed she was a cosmic entity back then, and that version in my head was more fun.
Madame Web as a Spider-Beyonder sounds weirdly funny.
You're doing great on these videos, so I don't want to sound like I'm complaining. But just a suggestion, something that would be nice, is if when you're talking about how this card will play off another card, maybe you could show the text from the other card on screen? Like just have it pop up in the corner and we can pause to read if we need to. That would be helpful if it's a card I haven't seen before, or I just don't remember what it does off the top of my head.
Intro was wild lool
First line already told us all that is important about the character, not sure why its 17 minutes after that...
Hey Nando! Long time fan and subscriber here.
Great job on keeping up with these videos! I remember watching the video you made earlier this year where you said you wanted to make these types of videos often, and I'm proud of you for continuing them.
I always put them on in the background!
I really want marvel studios & sony to do this underrated gem of a character justice & have a MCU Madame Web in future Tom Holland Spider-man movies. Cast a older actress (Toni Collette would be my pick) & have her in a supporting reoccurring role. Madame Web has so much potential.
Not really. She's just a character that ties into the Spider-Totem lore, which is arguably one of the dumbest Marvel concepts ever, has vague future visions, and she doesn't have much of an an individual character or story. And that's fine. Not ever character needs to be a big, main player who gets a fantastic revamp/run by some up-and-coming writer, which changes the way comics are written.
Sometimes we have to accept certain comic characters don't need adaptations.
I was really hoping this was done with poor ADR the whole time.
Surprised by the lack of Spider-Man The Animated Series discussion. That's where us normies know her from.
thanks for the video
I truly hope the movie doesn't make it impossible to get a real version of this character some day
If anything because an older, blind/paraplegic actress in a marvel film would kick all the ass
Her web moves us all apparently 😂
Hercules
Human torch
They should make Madame Web in the comics as Human torch, Hercules and Vulture’s best friend
'Madame Web: She's better than nothing'
I wonder why she's largely disconnected from the other mutants.
so Fox can not do a crappy movie about her... oh wait...
Sometimes mutants can just be very disconnected from X-Men things. Ricochet's like this as well, his mutation gives him danger sense and superhuman agility/reflexes, but you don't really see him hanging out with other mutants or joining any X-Teams.
I've been making a meme for every line of dialogue in Madame Web for 206 days now on Reddit

Hold up. Long time Batman writer Denny O'Neil used to write Spide-Man?😊
He worked on lots of stuff including Transformers, as he was one who came up with the name Optimus Prime although he claimed in a later interview that he didn't remember naming the character.
VENOM had the writer from 50 SHADES OF GREY (who is also directing THE LAST DANCE)
MORBIUS had the writers from GODS OF EGYPT (Who are also behind MADAME WEB)
And KRAVEN THE HUNTER has the writers from TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT
AVI ARAD ruined everything again
And he wasn't even involved in MADAME WEB
But he was behind BORDERLANDS, though
Sony just hires anyone it seems
@@_fendiman97Anyone cheap, of course
#IBlameAviArad
Katie Marcel is a solid writer. Most of the problems with 50 Shades was with the original source material and EL James meddling on set
@@booksvsmovies If she's a solid writer, then why Let There Be Carnage felt like a cheap fan fic?
Have you heard the dialogue between Kasady and Shriek in the opening scene?
@Zombiesnyder13 I like the Venom movies. They're trying to be campy fun, and they're successfully at it. The fanfic vibes are intentional and targeting an audience that just doesn't include you. If they're not to your taste, that's fine, but I think they're good.
There’s more people in infinite ladder trying to counter madam web instead of playing her lol. Clog decks everywhere
huh, turns out the stuff I knew about here was just spiderverse related
oh I didnt know cloak and dagger were mutants
Cloak & Dagger aren't mutants
This is apparently true. I just looked it up. It looks like they were originally mutants whose powers were activated by exposure to chemicals but it just changed to mutates. Good catch.
They're like Mimic. Sometimes considered mutants, sometimes not. Idk why they have to make things so confusing.
