    It’s not personal! 😊.
Hey everyone! Glad you guys are enjoying the video. I wanted to comment on something a few of you noticed that I really appreciate. Some of you noticed that despite having worked with Steve Harvey, I was able to call him out when I thought he stole a joke and lied about it. Many were even pleasantly surprised to find out where my analysis went after I said I've worked with him.
To be clear, Steve Harvey was very kind to me when we shared the stage. My televised performance at the Apollo is a career highlight for me and I owe a lot of it to him. He was a great host and the audience clearly loved him. He was very welcoming and gracious when he introduced me to them.
My analysis here is not personal, I feel that very often people confuse analysis for opinion. When I say someone is likely being honest, it doesn’t mean I like them. When I say someone is likely being deceptive, it doesn’t mean I don’t like them. People I like can lie, people I dislike can be honest.
I like Steve Harvey, he was kind to me. I also think he stole a joke from Mark Curry and botched the punchline. Both of those things can be true at the same time.
When we’re so polarized that we can’t see fault in people we like or virtue in people we dislike it makes us biased and subjective. It irritates me when people get stuck in bias and don’t try to see things from the other side.
A note on the homeless thing: as I said in the video, when he told his story to the audience, he said he was “living out of his car” I don’t remember the use of the word “homeless.” It’s possible he uses the two interchangeably given that someone living in their car isn’t living in a home. That nuance can create confusion in the way he tells it and the way some people perceive it. Just wanted to clarify that I don’t think he said he was homeless when I heard him tell it. The image I have in my head is of him in a car not on the street. My only point in the analysis was that Katt being homeless is not a counter argument to Steve being homeless, and making 3k a night in his 40s doesn't mean he was never homeless. It's possible that Steve was never homeless, but those arguments are not, in my opinion, evidence of that, Steve's ex wife on an interview is a valuable data point but also not concrete evidence, its her word against his. Analysis is about constantly questioning our conclusions and debating our own position, not blindly believing either side just because.
    ❤️

I really wish this can be displayed on a billboard for everyone to read. Your ability to separate emotion from analysis is amazing.
I also get so annoyed when people see no fault in the people they like and see no good in the people they dislike. I think it shows a lack of intelligence. If you dare say someone who’s adored might be lying, they take it all personally because they can’t fathom their idols lying.
I don’t know how you do it but you do it so well. And I hope you keep doing it! 1 million subscribers soon!!!

The reason Katt was addressing/attacked Kevin Hart is that Kevin went on the breakfast club and made statements about Katt doing drugs and not showing up for work. From watching Katt williams interviews he felt it was personal because his children was exposed to what was said. My opinion: I feel Katt was defending himself by saying he's a plant and didn't earn his comedy stripes. Because Kevin was willing to sell out for Hollywood.

Between him, Matthew McConaughey, Diddy's security, Joe Rogan, a publicist and Jaguar telling some, if not all, of the same stories, and none of the people who are in those stories are coming out with facts to disprove any of the stories.

Kat is a weed/nicotine smoker like myself. Kat was not allowed to smoke for the entirety of the interview (almost 3 hours)which probably affected his body's timely cravings. That led him to constantly fidget, rub his knees, adjust his hat. It's not because he was nervous. His body just wasn't used to not having a smoke whenever he feels like it. I just thought I'd explain that since it's the first part of your video. But good job on the analysis

And surprisingly, he wasn't fidgeting, rubbing his knees or anything. Term conjecture means "an opinion based on biased/incomplete evidence". I wouldn't come here and say this if I didn't have evidence. And above all, katt himself said in the interview (I'm paraphrasing) that "he needs weed to eat, sleep and function". At the end of the interview Katt is clear: he reiterates twice that he has garnered his success in the industry without literally selling his body or morals. And that those “big names”, trying to diminish his worth over the years, are not who you think they are and their success was not achieved by their talent & merit alone. Katt also talked about the things that he refused to do to get roles. Obviously, there are actors who will do anything (even sexually) for movie roles. Katt can sleep at night knowing he didn’t sacrifice his moral values for money. I can understand some of the frustration knowing that the roles went to someone who hasn’t paid their dues but got roles at the cost of their dignity. After watching this interview, I have so much respect for Katt.

It's a video Denzel did saying when he first got started he was asked to do a movie called The nigga they couldn't kill and Denzel said he called Sidney Porter and asked him should he do it, Denzel said Sidney told him, I'm not going to tell you not to do it but things you do in the beginning of your career will put you in a position to where they'll set the tone for your career, Denzel said he turned it down and a few months later he got the role in that army like movie and won his first award. • @snazzysammi87

You've definitely provided some perspective I should have thought about. Honestly, the first time I watched the interview (I watched it 3 times because it was entertaining), I felt Katt intentionally dropped the exaggerated comments. I didn't feel it broke his credibility but added to it. Those comments are what these comedians are focused on when responding to the interview, and they're not refuting the statements Katt made about them. To me, it was like, "What's more important? My exaggerated comments about me? Or the accusations I've made about you?"
Also, the cognac started to speak more as the interview went on. Katt seems to have a lot of pent-up anger about the character of comedians and what they're willing to do to become as famous as they have become, and he is almost disappointed that he wasn't backed up because he was trying to do things the right way and stick to his moral compass. To me, parts of the interview were speaking more about the character of Hollywood and how much he doesn't agree with it.
In the same breath, Katt does make it clear that he has become successful on his own terms, that he lives comfortably, and that although he's not making the millions and billions other comedians are making, he can sleep peacefully at night knowing that he didn't forsake his morals to get to where he is today.

There are three sides to a story, and it's well known (and shows in this interview) that Katt is competitive and can be a sore loser. Doesn't change anything for me. I didn't say he was an upstanding citizen. I said he stuck to his moral compass. There's a difference.

Cedric's denial was absurd and anyone can tell he was lying.
He openly said people steal jokes all the time, which is not something that someone who is innocent would ever even mention. He also kept referring to the joke as a "space shuttle" joke, making it seem as if Katt was claiming his original joke was about the space shuttle, which it was NOT. Katt clearly explained that the original joke was about a Cadillac, and that Cedric saw it, and immediately used the same joke, exchanging a Cadillac for a space shuttle.
The fact that Cedric makes a point of claiming that the "space shuttle" joke was always his is an attempt to manipulate the public under false pretenses.

Industry plant also means that he is a manufactured person, promoted right and getting to pass people putting in the grind because of what he is willing to give up morally to get there. And people being honest and putting in the work should rightly resent and oppose this as the artistry is ruined as a result of these industry plants.

Regarding the car/space shuttle joke, Cedric started his video by stating how old that joke is and how long ago it was performed. This sounded suspicious to me because usually when people who are accused of something or are embarrassed by something they did a long time ago they always try to downplay that thing by emphasizing how old it is. If it didn't happen, time should not be a factor.

Ummmmmmmm I’ve had my cousin address stuff about me and she has such an awkwardly precise memory. I’d be like “that was freaking TEN YEARS AGO, how the heck am I supposed to remember the specific details of snatching MY stuff out of your hands after YOU took it off my desk?” I only remember the gist, but she had details I literally couldn’t remember for the life of me. And when people do that, they are trying to screw with my memory. People can plant memories in your head about things, it’s called gaslighting. In interrogations with police, it’s called leading the witness. So yes, it IS important to know how long ago a memory happened. Because people can end up tricking you into believing things that never happened. I have an awful memory now after going through years of people screwing with my memory. So it’s best that people keep things more current with me rather than 10 years ago or more

Katt is so much funnier than all of those guys except for Kevin Hart who I fell in love with years ago when he was just an up and coming comedian and made me laugh so hard I actually peed myself a little. But so has Katt Williams. I agree with the commentator when he said that Katt seemed to him to be a little annoyed that Kevin didn't pay his dues and that's what upsets him. But as comedians they are both funny as hell! I do like Steve Harvey but there's no way he's as funny as either one of those guys. And Cedric the Entertainer has never been funny to me period. The line that confirms it for me is when cedric says "that's what i believe it to be...". That's a last thing that is a real tell to me. An honest person wouldn't have said that. Similar to jussie smollett saying "i didn't take it. I know me and I wouldn't do that. " again, someone being honest wouldn't speak about him/ her self insinuating "maybe i don't know myself that well. Maybe i did it. Nope. I know me. I wouldn't do that. " only liars think like that because they don't know how honest people think and speak. I have seen so many liars being interviewed on tv, men and women, and when they start saying "i know i would never do that. " i know they did it.

It felt strange that in all the years of success he’d never reached out to them once… and his thanks to them felt very weak. It did feel that his surprise for them being on the show was genuine.
