One of the morgues at one of the hospitals I used to work at was dilapidated like that. The thing is that it's still in use. Two free standing fridges in the middle of this out building surrounded by what looked like an abandoned morgue.
Well, that was an experience. I've never seen a morgue with so many freezers so Wow that was rather creepy. I wonder if that place will ever get cleaned out and repurposed. It seems a shame that so much is left behind but then I probably wouldn't want to take anything with me knowing where it was from. Great video, thanks again.
Hi, the glass boxes with black gloves are used to prepare medicines which can be toxic for the staff to be prepared without gloves or which must be prepared in a sterile manner such as chemotherapy medicines (Cancers). I am a nurse . Also handsome young man, I strongly advise you to wear a mask in all your explorations. You and your friends. Mold can make you very sick. Keep up the good work ... Hi Diana, it was an interesting place to see and film but I really couldn’t wait to get back out of there, the smell and the eerie feeling in there wasnt nice but I’m still glad I got to see the place and film it for you guys:) Thanks for watching
Very interesting to see an old hospital which should be torn down because of all the mould etc. Maybe it has some kind of historical preservation order? There is a great comment by Luce B which talks about the black glove boxes being used for mixing chemotherapy chemicals. You also stumbled into a pathology laboratory with all those bottles and abandoned machines, a patient waiting area (not a staff room). I was surprised to see how small and basic the blood bank was. Looks like the chemotherapy, pathology and morgue were all in the same areas which is awful. Handy morgue right downstairs. Great for staff, not for patient morale!
Catrine when this hospital was closed down there was no damp it was in perfect condition but a very old hospital but as I have said the workmanship in these beautiful buildings will never be again buildings today are just thrown up there not built this hospital was for people with mental illness depression e.t.c a lot of the patients were moved out into the community then the hospital was closed.
Awesome explore! New fan, and subscriber. First time I have seen a hospital not destroyed by tagging yet, so much left behind its like you can almost see patients walking around. The morgue was nuts so many slabs they definitely had a lot of deceased bodies at least 30 at one time max. Thankfully no client paperwork records of scans of even blood work was left laying around like other abandoned hospitals so they took a lil pride in closing

Thanks man I’m glad you enjoyed the quick tour, it was pretty big for a morgue as it was part of a huge old hospital, guess they needed that many spaces for the bodies back in the old days as they didn’t have much medicine back then so people died of much less than they do these days. I just clicked on your channel and saw that you’ve also explored a few hospitals, I will watch them when I get the chance:) Thanks for watching
That was a great find! Wish they didn't leave so much equipment behind in the labs...could have been reused somewhere else I am sure, even if it was in a country that really needs it. Sad to see it going to waste, the NHS must have money to burn 😳 Looks like the 3 large mortuary tables were taken or weighed in, they would have been solid stainless steel. Good work, loved it!
Hi Wendy, i know what you mean about the equiptment, it really should be given to other places that would have a need for it. It was a shame the 3 mortuary tables were gone but as you say they would be worth quite a lot of money being stainless steel. Glad you enjoyed the video, it was a creepy place i was glad to get out of:)
@Catrine Rua Obviously...and that is why I said "Lab" and not "Mortuary" equipment. There is no reason why the glass cabinets, the atomasters and other stuff couldn't be reused...not to mention all the desks, chairs and counters. THANK YOU very much for your exploring, but please, please do wear masks as others have said mold is so very dangerous. Take care of yourselves. From, Seattle, WA
Hi Denise, yes i really need to get a mask although at the moment masks are pretty much impossible to get with this coronavirus going on. I promise to get one soon though as some of the places i visit are pretty bad. Thanks
Stare is this place still standing??
I’m not sure as I haven’t been past it for quite some time, cool place though:)

Looks like an anaerobic cabinet. I worked in labs .
Hi silas, thanks for the info on the cabinet, i wondered what it was. Thanks for watching
A nurse left a comment above saying it was used for mixing chemotherapy drugs. Scary that they need a keep away, fume removal cabinet!
Better to wear gloves in places like this
Hi Liyana, yes your right, i must remember gloves and mask on future explores. Thanks for watching
no.
If there are no wounds on the skin its completely pointless.
the LUNGS tho.

However, a regular mask doesnt do anything, as good as nothing.
You need an actual respirator w filters

Wack
@@flawless_Cowboy Wack ? What do you mean "wack" pray tell ?
Flawless Cowboy , I never met a Cowboy that used the word “wack”, and that’s probably because you aren’t a Cowboy. Just someone with a big mouth.
Great adventure
Thanks Joe, it was interesting seeing the inside of a morgue as most people who visit have their eyes shut:) Thanks for watching

Definitely an awful place to work. But just imagine how well paid they were. Coroners and pathologists get paid VERY well.

Hi Rachel, I can’t really say where this place is as I don’t want the wrong kinda people to find it and trash the place but all I can say is that it’s in England:) Thanks for watching

Hi Annie, thanks, did i sound scared in my voice. . . . . . . . . Because i was:)
@@stare6711 Absolutely not. You sound very enthusiastic. I was commenting on your accent. Are you from Yorkshire? I am an American, but my father was born in Yorkshire. Huddersfield, to be exact.
14.07 These are probably freezers for rotten deceased...
Hey Tero, thanks for that, you’re probably right about the freezers. The smell in the place was pretty bad but when you think about what the place was used for it kinda figures:) Thanks for watching
