John is one of my favorite persons of all time (although at the time of his death, he as my favorite, without question.) I always had a crush on George because of his handsomeness! I miss both of them.
I was watching that and thinking how strange and fabulous it is at the same time that people old and young made the time to get together to enjoy this song that is now getting on for 60 years old.

The out of tune singing, strangely, makes it even better. Mainly because it shows how ordinary people like you and me are deeply touched by his music and are there not to be judged or to try to show off, we’re just there to sing along and enjoy the music he gave us. So incredibly moving…
