Thank God and you for making it a possibility. That house looks very well put together now. Great job

I made the mistake of putting tile on my steps leading down to my baseman. Will the glue hold down the carpet under the tile?

Hey!! Where did you buy the carpet stretcher from.. it’s not a knee kicker forsure lol what’s the name of it? Thank you, I really appreciate it.

It looks good, impressive. I think you said at the beginning that one of the problems could be the carpet slipping around. I didn't see you do anything about that though you referred to peeling back the carpet and padding? Did I understand that correctly? You seemed to rely on getting the stretch totally tight in both directions, I'm assuming it's not going to go far if its well attached. Nor did I see you do any filling on the grout lines, won't they show through the carpet in time?

So so good we have not had any issues with grout lines showing! We are using very good underlay on these projects, that being said there is no guarantee! On a job like this! We are installing over ceramic!

I'm glad to see this. Thinking about doing something like this & the first video I watched said saw the tile all the way around 2" from the wall! Terrible idea IMHO as what if someone wants the tile back years later?? Would an extra heavy-duty pad be necessary to soften it? Since it isn't on plywood. Tile is HARD! lol.

I love that tile, why would you cover it up with carpet? The tile looks very well made, a work of art from a by gone era!!!! Just my opinion !! lolol

Thanks for this vid. I'm hoping to do this soon. Do you rough up the tile at all to help the glue 'key in' or just glue straight on a glossy tile? (when you glue the smooth edge)

Can you explain what you put on the stairs so you had something to nail in? It looked like some sort of product taped down? Thanks!
