It reminds me of when Prince Harry married Meghan Markle. When she met him at the altar he turned to her and said "I am so lucky." It was such a beautiful moment.
When I'm in love, I feel very motivated on all life aspects. I feel fearless/fierce, feminine, confident, focused, playful, funny, deep. I could move mountains. But I'm not in love yet. 😆😅
Love is an amazing feeling. But I also believe that love is much more than how it feels on the surface. The strong relationship generate a strong love that’s based on real connections and support. And that is truly beautiful inside and outside.

Hi. Watching your video struck me to the core. With each reason i identified with my man makes perfect sense to me. It was he who made the first move after only seeing a photo of me and could identify with the way i write things cause he writes in exactly the same way. It was he who persued me, made me feel like a woman, made me fee, ever so loved, i returned his love cause by telling me that he loved me he felt vulnerable to rejection. But i never rehected him instead i welcomed him by supporting him in every way, he says thatvi am his rock, that i help him through tough times by being able to support him in making desicions, and now quite recently he's dropped into our conversations a desire to see me walking down the isle towards him. He's said that he feels lucky to be marrying thr best cook in the world and is looking forward in nuturing our relationship. The feelings flowing between us are amazing. Pure unadulterative love. I was in love once or twice it was a beautiful thing my x gave me 4 beautiful children. Love is euphoric when it's real . I don't know if I'll experience it again in my life time but either way it goes I am content with whatever the universe gives me.
My partner has made me feel like I have never felt before. He's the first thing on my mind in the morning, and the last thing at night. He's shy, but things he writes on cards or tells me are short and to the point, but they have such meaning for me. He has told me I'm a catch, and I feel extremely lucky to have him in my life. So, I think your points go both ways.

Thank you for this video. I have a wonderful guy that I make sure he has no doubt in his mind of how much I care for him. He has some physical health conditions as well as bipolar disorder. We started talking briefly in December 2018, but he started in earnest talking a lot in March of last year a month after his 2nd divorce was final. Right now, it's a long-distance relationship, but we did meet last June. He was actually the one that opened up emotionally before I did. Right now, just taking things day by day and living in the present moment.
Claire, I guess I am a hopeless romantic. Of course you are right. There are some men who have serious problems. If a person feels uneasy in the presence of a person, they should remove themselves from the situation immediately. But some men are worth the effort of finding out if they have the capacity to love and be loved.
ONE NOTE: Loyalty in a Non-monagamous relationship....just no. Someone nearly always gets hurt. Going from "I do" to "death do you part" with one life partner rarely is possible when one or both become non-monagamous. And even more rarely if there's not honesty about it. Some know people who they think this lifestyle is working for, but rarely, if ever, does it go the distance or end well for everybody. Most great grandma's & grandpa's knew things like this, and they and their love lasted the entire distance. Sexual intimacy is a powerful thing. If one hasn't allowed themselves to become numb or callous, then sexual intimacy is raw, beautiful, and vulnerable. Share that outside of the one your "loyal" to...and someone is extremely likely to experience feelings of pain and betrayal time & time again, and it steals from the ones "ok" with it too by making sex so cheap that they can no longer stay deeply close to anyone anymore. And that also ruins it for growing old with your one life partner and all the deep, richness that's able to go with that level of partnership. Don't model your relationships after what's "common" or you'll get common break ups & results, but rather look to emulate those few couples that have been together for 50 - 60 years or more and are still SO dedicated and in love. :-) ❤️
SHES4AMWF you are exactly right on this! Married for 42 years to my husband, single during and yes participating in the sexual revolution okay but as a woman even back then I knew I was being used. I got smart after being dumped a few times and then met and married at age 26 to my husband who was 22 yrs old, whom I met at a bar...lol! Cheating has NEVER been an option for either of us even as we had a couple of opportunities. We watched so many friends cheat, separate and divorce. So painful for them and their children. I came from a broken family and vowed to never do that to my kids. Trust, friendship, loyalty, marriage counseling when required and decent sex will take you through pretty much everything in life. Cheating is something I could never get over, nor could he. I’d never trust him ever again I know. It’s a myth that anyone really, truly ever gets over it in my opinion. The trick to 40-50 years marriage is to never, ever let it get that far gone in the first place. And also, to commit to NO sexual self gratification when you’re upset, angry when having rough times working through things. Both of you. That said, by then we have so much history, so many memories and also we’re financially much better together than apart. Marriage counseling was a key because truth is there are times you are SO not in love and times you’re ready to punch his lights out. Get a good referee when needed! The sexy-sex part is harder as you age as bodies change, weight gain, libido fades. That said, things get kind of mundane. Physically, men and women are different so you just try harder to motivate yourself because you respect that he has needs. It helps to be a bit vain myself at this age, too. The former sizzle dissipates but there’s a relaxation, a familiarity and ‘guarantee’ that it’s going to still be good, although not as frequently. You have check in, be honest and talk about it. There are blue pills for guys of course and I find HRT patches to be helpful for me, at 1/2 dosage. That stuff keeps things stretchy and good old Astroglide does the rest. Anyway, after all this time with a good man who loves me still, I cannot imagine intimacy with another man my age. My husband thinks it quite funny when some poor lonely old fellow follows me around Walmart...lol!! I just feel sorry for them. For him, he looks around at the women who are single and sees how many are emotionally damaged, broke, poor health, adult kid issues, etc and that’s enough for him. He’s quite reserved with people and once on a business trip some cougar was eyeballing him and whispering with her friend. When he FINALLY realized what was going on....he BLUSHED. 🤣🤣❤️ No, the senior years are not where you want to be on the market, men OR women. I think we’ve come to a place where we appreciate each other more, enjoy our accomplishments and our family created with so much work and love over the decades. Anyway, it’s very nice to chat with you, and to be able to share a little wisdom at a time in life that most people just don’t think of sexually. Wishing you well my dear. Hang in there, make the commitment to a man who will do the same and put the work in. It IS worth it in the end. 👍🙏❤️😘

Certainly the majority of my experience has been that most couples who do sexual non-monogamy struggle, but it's important to remember there are those that succeed, and also that monogamous couples struggle too! Up to 80% of monogomous couples experience some kind of infidelity, so there's challenges on both sides and these are important conversations to have (as per my video with Anita ua-cam.com/video/yhG4O0NjG-Y/v-deo.html - Ester Perel also has wonderful content on this.
Honestly every time I feel any silly doubt that there aren't good men and saving my energy for a relationship for a good man is pointless, these videos give me great hope and insight that contrasts the often negative projections and stereotypes about men and those men who are unfortunately living out those stereotypes. Yeah, man and women are different, but I see that we really aren't all the difference at all and I wish there was more content out there the shows that.
Thanks Vanessa Benjamin - certainly we can all get lost in negative examples at times in life. I was talking to a client about this just this morning. While these negative instances are certainly out there, we can get caught up in the 'poop coloured glasses' and see only that sometimes. It can feel safe, but actually doesn't help us. If you give me stats that say 80% of relationships aren't fulfilling, then I'd say "Ok, how then do I make sure I'm one of the 20%?"

Louise on a daily basis, one example might be the ability to have little vents and feel understood. For example, with my partner, I might confide in her how tired I am, or that I'm having a moment of self-doubt. She'll help me with her perspective. Or, later on in the day, it might be having her there to chat to as I fall asleep - discussing a moment I felt a bit insecure during the day and talking it through with her. The vulnerable companionship of having that person there.

I think we’ve come to a place where we appreciate each other more, enjoy our accomplishments and our family created with so much work and love over the decades. Certainly the majority of my experience has been that most couples who do sexual non-monogamy struggle, but it's important to remember there are those that succeed, and also that monogamous couples struggle too! Honestly every time I feel any silly doubt that there aren't good men and saving my energy for a relationship for a good man is pointless, these videos give me great hope and insight that contrasts the often negative projections and stereotypes about men and those men who are unfortunately living out those stereotypes. Yeah, man and women are different, but I see that we really aren't all the difference at all and I wish there was more content out there the shows that.
Thanks Vanessa Benjamin - certainly we can all get lost in negative examples at times in life. I was talking to a client about this just this morning. While these negative instances are certainly out there, we can get caught up in the 'poop coloured glasses' and see only that sometimes. It can feel safe, but actually doesn't help us. If you give me stats that say 80% of relationships aren't fulfilling, then I'd say "Ok, how then do I make sure I'm one of the 20%?"

Louise on a daily basis, one example might be the ability to have little vents and feel understood. For example, with my partner, I might confide in her how tired I am, or that I'm having a moment of self-doubt. She'll help me with her perspective.
Or, later on in the day, it might be having her there to chat to as I fall asleep - discussing a moment I felt a bit insecure during the day and talking it through with her. The vulnerable companionship of having that person there.
