Great reason to own a .50AE. I used to tell people I needed it in case I was mugged by 4 guys standing behind one another, but I like your Chevy logic better- Thx.
Although the 300 gr has some umph, all that energy is displaced once it gets through the 8 gauge sheet metal of the vehicle and associated equipment mounted in between the engine and the side panel
My first experience with Desert Eagle was 2015 when I reviewed the first stainless steel Desert Eagle with integral comp and I became a fan right away. I bought the test sample when I was done with the review. Nice video man.
Hey, just wanna add something here concerning the part where you weigh the pistols. (I don't know if this was corrected at any point in the video, because I stopped it at 2:30 to make this comment.) That's not "4.59" and "3.12" lbs. That's 4 lbs, 5.9 oz and 3 lbs, 11.2 oz. That means there's actually less than one pound difference between the two, according to your scale.
Thanks Big Daddy really enjoy these videos . I bet if you polish those slides with some 1200 grit paste it will quit going out of battery like that .Plus you know it will get sweeter the more its worked .
First shot of the video, it jammed. I've had that happen to my l5. Call Mag Research and have it sent off and see if they will upgrade the spring system. Since I've had it done it runs none stop.
I noticed your slide needs to be pushed forward too on the first couple rounds with a full mag. Is that just until they break in? I don't even have 40 rounds through mine yet.
Aluminum frame seems like its not going to last long if your an active shooter. How many rounds if it's 8 if rather get the 44 magnum full loads revolver or shoot the ..500S&W
My favourite four carry guns are: 50AE Deagle, MK-23 .45 ACP, Five Seven 5.7x28 pistol, and a Sig Saur .357 semi automatic, not sure why people say the deagle is a bad carry gun, the light one in this video is great to carry.
if its a legal shoot he isnt gonna be in court. if its a legal shoot and a legal gun to own then its irrelevant what you used. deadly force is deadly force, there is no law about overkill.
Hornady .50 300 grain fully loaded bullet. Sells at $1.40 per round. Other manufacturers of a 660-700 grain fully loaded .50 sells for between $2.99-$6.99 a round. That's way off from $140.00 per round. Heck a single fully loaded JDJ .950 round. Sells for $40.00. Yet the Nitro .700 fully loaded single 1,000 grain round sells for $73.00.00-$125-$250.00. 2,000Feet per second with 8,900LBS of muzzle energy.
How positively does your safety engage and release? If it engages very tightly, and only releases with a determined press and with a snap and a mechanical click, then you may be all right to carry cocked and with a round chambered. But I have a Tanfoglio with a somewhat mushy safety. There are times when I draw the weapon or pick it up, and the safety has disengaged on me without me knowing it prior. It's too light. I would not be comfortable carrying cocked, at all.
I've got several of these crazy things - and I want MORE. I need to move to the south. You 'folk look like a good time to me! I always smile and laugh when I watch ur vids Brother Hoffman!
That's a nice looking tent back there. Looks military surplus. Made out of the good stuff. They shed the rain when I was in Vietnam. Out in the jungle, it would get so dark that I could not see ANYTHING. Nothing. Black and no adjustment going on in my eyeballs. Funny, how I thought nothing about what may be crawling around. I was only concerned if Charles was slithering nearby. People from Haiti can see in the dark. When I'm in Florida, it's nothing to see a whole car load of those shore upstanding south Florida citizens driving without benefit of headlights.
Did you have issues putting in mag after finger grip install?? I recently ordered and the magazine doesn’t slide in after install, I took back off and reinstalled original.
The Ammo they are using is Notorious for being slightly out of spec and the gun also runs better wet.... I own 2 so I kinda know what I’m talking about!
The reason the desert eagle 50 is heavy is to help with the recoil, it doesn’t matter how much it weighs if you can’t hit anything with it I’m sure these guys had fun but they are far from experts
No, I still have the other two.....no plans to ever sell them. This is a T&E pistol that we seen at Shot Show 2016. Going to be hard to send it back....lol. Thanks!!!
I'd love to see a L5 or L6 version in .44 Mag... that would be great (even better if they would also come in stripped black). However, I wonder if it's still possible to change caliber between the L6 .50AE and the .357 Mag version like on regular XIX Desert Eagle. Do you know anything about that?
Hey guys. i've got a question. are you able to carry this type of weapons everyday freely on the streets? for self defense or something like that? i mean, shit is a 50cal pistol if you shoot it at a bandit you probably rip out one part of body and send it to fly. im talking without any knowledge about guns (more than the videogames an such can give me) and also im not living on USA or any country with easy access to guns so... yeah that was my question. also i love your channel BD1911 keep the good work.
@@harryjoe860 - Should really only carry the .50 out in the country. If you have to shoot a BG out there and it overpenetrates because it's a .50, then so be it. But it's just too risky in the city.
