Rob! I have news! I am now part of the _Rotary_ family! I just picked up an old German Sachs KM37 engine (1964, single rotor, 3-5 hp, 108cc). I know I know, it's not a 4 rotor or something, but it's a start!

Rob make sure you have enough heat shielding for your waste gate hoses as they will experience extreme heat and possibly melt. had that issue on my 13b re and took 2 layers of heat shielding to prevent it.
Rob, it's not possible to reassemble the wastegate with the controller fitment pointing the other way? I mean, to the same side that the screamer pipe is running?

is this the RX7 that you used the Harbor Freight hydraulic ram on? Because of your video, I fixed my front end on my winter beater Civic that I got with minor front end damage. I kept looking up on Google and UA-cam on how to pull front end damage out with tow straps or chains and it never got me anywhere. With your recommendation, it made my front end repair much easier thanks Rob!
Are you planning to use an air filter? It sure looks tight! I see a lot of very expensive and beautiful engines on YT without air filters and IMO, that is a big no-no.
I might understand it if they were cars only driven on the track and they don't mind doing regular rebuilds. For a street/track car, that's another story. It seems silly to spend so much money on an engine and not take one of the most basic preventative measures. Take a good look inside of an air box and filter and notice all of the crap that gets in side. Leaves, twigs, mouse nest junk, whatever. Again, it just doesn't make sense not using one.
Does the airfilter have a downside when it comes to performance? Surely it must affect the airflow somewhat, just wondering if the effect it has is significant enough to make it worth running without a filter.
For what Rob is doing, the loss in horsepower would be hardly measurable. That said, if he's doing a 1/2 mile timed run, then I can see looking for that little bit of extra power. Running without a filter on the roads is another story. It's not worth the risk.
Rob buddy nice install, but really show quality? You got to machine all that crap of off lower plenum, not use block off plates and weld all unused vacuum ports shut, THEN polish it out, I spent over 80 hours machining, welding, blending and polishing and perfecting that lower plenum and had it ceramic clear coated, plus all the other polished engine parts. the complete build of my 3 rotor and finished car took 3 yrs. but it turned out sweat! keep swinging it takes a lot of time.
So I looked up the turbo and watched everything and I was like “yeah I got this” then I remember a gxl FC has a 13b Then I cried myself to sleep and now I’m trying to find out how to buy a engine

T-clamp man, same architecture as a v-band clamp, no issues with wearing out and can hold more clamping force than a worm clamp

Is there no concern with running a divided turbine housing on the single exit of the turbo manifold??
Why didn't u have the exhaust housing on the turbo and the manifold ceramic coated ? Maybe it messes with the exhaust temp sensors?

Check out the Lps alphaloc their couplers set ups are the best ive seen. Super easy to work with also

haha parts for FDs are expensive. I just bought 2 rear brackets for the larger RZ rear calipers etc.. cost close to $300.
