I can't eat store bought anymore but now I can make these for my daughter and I with gluten free soy sauce so we can enjoy my favorite snack again! Yay!
These are my favourite. It's usually made in the Philippines, they add a hint of spice with it "maybe white pepper", very nice combination. For your daughter, there is a game called " Cat Alone", it's designed for cats but works great for kids. My niece loves it. You might want to check it out.
OMG GIRL THANK YOU SK MUCH. I love these crackers so much when I find them in snack mixes or on their own. But the problem about them is that they are so hard to find and ssssooooooo expensive where I am😤😤😤. I have been looking for a recipe for them but they all look different from the ones in the store. Yours are the closest I’ve seen. I can’t wait to try ☺️☺️☺️
have you ever used kaki no tane as a coating for deep fried fish (like panko)? In shokugeki no soma (Anime), the main character fries fish using crushed kaki no tane as the coating. It looks so delicious in the anime, would love to see you make it in real life.
love your videos as usual ^_^ i've been watching your videos since the very beginning and have made most of them, while finding ingredients over at my side of the world. I love to eat senbei and it looks similar to this! any idea what can i replace the mochi you're using with to make this yummy snack? can i make my own mochi? arigato!
Hi I would like to ask how to dry the rice cake after you cut them into pieces? Just leave them in open area or need to put in refrigerator to avoid turning bad?

unfortunately this works the best and perfect with leftover hard mochi like this one (store-bought ones are easier)... it is not easy to make a small batch at home. my grandma used to make in a huge batch, so maybe i can someday :)
I usually make mochi in the microwave using mochiko flour (since I can't find mochi in stores near me). Do you think this recipe would work with that type of mochi as well?
+ochikeron I ❤️💛💚💙💜 you never ever ever💔💔💔💔 soon I'm gonna giv u a gift💝 just kidding I'm just wanting to press that emoji I wish though I love u so so much

i love this :')
thank you :)
How to make mochi from rice? I want to make from scratch :)
Hi I would like to ask how to dry the rice cake after you cut them into pieces? Just leave them in open area or need to put in refrigerator to avoid turning bad?
Put them in a dry, open place and preferably below sunlight. Putting them in the fridge won't dry them. 😊
oh thanks! in open area in the room (shade) is better.
Dahaha, and the Kiwi Dance is born!
They look so good, crispy and crunchy just like store bought ones! =D
:)
Wow they really do look like they're bought from a store! Also cool Kiwi souvenir, I'm from New Zealand. That little dance was so cute haha!

can u tell me ...I visited japan and bought some snacks one was somthing look like this...in the pack I only understood what was in english and it was " family mart collection" now would tell me was that thing this in ur vdo?
sorry, I didn't catch it, did you just leave the mochi slices in the opened container at room temperature?
how can u make the dough ? I looked at the ingredients of arare crackers , they use glutinous rice with tapioca strach. can u help me for this dough
How do we let it dry for 2 days in fridge or outside won't it be spoiled?
Outside is OK! It depends on the weather. If the weather is dry (not rainy season or dry at home) then not a problem.
Could I skip the drying part? It is so humid in Hawaii I think it will get moldy if I leave out.
I wonder if it is possible to use a dehydrator set to low temperature to speed up the mochi drying. hmmm.
i hear some people doing that. maybe you can search and find people writing about it
OISHIIIIIIIIII
Can I use rice cake instead of mochi?
