All the people that don't seem to get it and "prefer the original" don't know what this is....... this is REAL house music, keeping classic songs alive. Honey Dijon is one of the dopest out who broke the mold and competes with the best of the best. This is that dark, jungle tech house sound popular to Boris, Danny Tenaglia, Oscar G, Chus and Ceballos, Calderone, and so many more..... it's a very specific sound loved and revered in the NY house music scene. And there's nothing better than when DJ/Producers take the old classics and keep them alive, no matter how good the originals are, as they'are good in their own right. Honey Dijon paid homage to Bowie with this -- and i'm sure if he were around today, he'd approve since he was a regular at Studio 54 and the NYC disco scene which was the predecessor to house music. Awesome track.

@Jaygio your so right, same as with so many other things, its does not mean you have a PC and do a remix that its good. 80% of all remix don't get what a remix is about. Yes you can give you expression to a record (a pieces of art) but to many people only apply technology without soul.
To all who prefer the original, listen to it for yourself. Honey Dijon remix is a homage to David Bowie, and !!!! it allow new generation to access David Bowies music with there style so they may also appreciate his genius. then they will also get interest in his original music.

There was no need for such a remix, removing all the music from a legendary track to put a random beat on it. It's so good to hear David 's voice, though, and it makes me want to go back to the original album. :)

Bowie was such a lover of synth and always made music with so much body. This just sounds so empty in comparison. It sounds more like an art project than an homage. 🤷🏼♀️

This is a nearly impossible song ro remix, with the LP version being as perfect as it is. The "Club bolly extended remix" was nice for the first few times but I grew out of it pretty quickly. Like with most of Bowie's stuff (with "Love is lost - the Hello Steve Reich mix" excluded) there's nothing like the original versions.
There is nothing like the original versions, but at the same time playing the original at a Techno rave wouldn't quite hit the same as this remix would it?
