This was the first Bowie song I knew as an 80's kid, so naturally it's a favorite of mine. Having heard this mix makes me love it more. And hearing that Stevie Ray did the guitar on this just adds a whole dimension to it, especially wirh hearing more of him rocking out.
I been enjoying this song for the last 39 years now(today is 9-24-22 and my birthday also).and I hope to enjoy it another 39 years.By the way 1983,the year this song came out was the year I turned 20 and today I turned 59.Happy birthday to me.

cant listen to the 7" or radio edit. feels incomplete. and wow that sax, incredible. although anyone who is buying the 12" single, note that its the same version as the album version, same goes for the B side song which by the way is just about as good. its a bit pointless purchasing when you can get all this goodness on 1 kickass LP. one of my faviroute albums from the 80s. thanks for the memories.

So let them have their light, it might just be. I've never met him but have seen him at a distance and THAT was just as stimulating as meeting David. Some have differrnt levels of fame embracement. Lenny once came over to me in a restaurant and I didnt know who he was till after the fact.

RIP Bowie. Can't believe it's now 3 years later here in March of David's passing. This will be always be my jam as an '80s kid myself.
