You are so wholesome, it's amazing. When you're finished with the amazingness that is Captain Scarlet, I suggest checking out Adam Adamant Lives and The Prisoner. You'll get a kick out of them!
OT but thanks to your reviews I am now watching a rerun of old Captain Scarlet in the UK -and it has done wonders for my OCD because they are showing the ads in the correct spot hoorah ! and not crashing into the program with commercials in any old place (as they usually do now)
Agreed; I prefer the puppets visually too, and the whole bright style (and Barry Gray's far better music) of the original. New CS is ok though. I still haven't seen season 2 so I might buy that one on disc.
Greetings again Alexa from England UK so glad that you are continuing to enjoy "New Captain Scarlet" the CG Rendering in the early episodes can vary depending on which Director and CG Animation team have been used. With the change in software so early in production it took a while for things to settle down particularly with the rendering of certain characters hair and clothing usually with any guest or one off characters. But it is still very early days in "Rain Of Terror" a stand out for me is the CG Rendering of the torrential rain very impressive.
This isn't the episode 2 I was expecting, but I enjoyed your reaction all the same! Do you have link to the episode order you're following so I can watch along with the right episodes? 😊

I love The Prisoner so much that I flew all the way to the UK not once but twice to visit Portmeirion.
@@alexachipman Portmerion is beautiful!

The new CG and the original Super Marionation Captain Scarlet shows are REALLY intense thematically. Much more than children's fare.

Huh. Dont know where you're streaming this, but they're in the correct production order, which is cool.
They should have kept the original drum signature, instead of creating a new one for scene transition as I like it better.

Sure, it is at: pluto.tv/en/on-demand/series/gerry-andersons-new-captain-scarlet/details/season/1
@@alexachipman Thanks! 😊
Nice to see that copyright wasn't such pain in butt this time!
So far fingers crossed!
Would you consider a first time watch of Joe 90. Another Gerry Anderson show
Saturdays are Gerry Anderson day. The plan is to cover every single show one at a time!
Thanks Alexa
The show where Ben 10 got it's concept from.
Great 😊
Is it only me but the CGI renditions just don’t have the charm of the puppets and the Angels are far more beautiful as puppets. 😎
