Mono Lake on the California/ Nevada border is the best place you'll ever do putting games. It's a salt lake which means you float without trying. You'll have 500 foot drives to the top of tufa towers. Logistics are 509 feet and more boat rides to non level rocks. It'll be the hardest to film and the best video y'all might have ever done!!!!!!!!!
Simon is the perfect choice to host this series. Jomez has exceeded my expectations on this project, it has been great! Now I want to make a trip up to Tahoe once the snow melts, play a round and get a beer!

Being from Lake Tahoe, and knowing almost every local in this video, playing countless rounds at all of these courses, with all of these people just made my day. This is one of the coolest tributes Lake Tahoe has ever received!

@@natebell4764 it's a very expensive place to live. Most of this video was shot in South Lake Tahoe, which is the me last affordable around the Lake.

This series is fantastic. It’s like ESPN’s E60 meets PBS’s Nature. The stories, the music, the production are all so well done. Only Jomez and Simon could make this so special. I’m hooked and hope season 2 is being filmed this season!

As a former resident of North lake, I assure you none of this (incredible) footage does this place justice. Absolutely spectacular place to be. Have to see it to believe it. Thanks Jomez and Simon for shining a light on , in my opinion, the best place on Earth to throw discs. Cheers !

I absolutely love that "Beyond Disc Golf" is actually a video series about Simon traveling around casually kicking local players butts on their own courses, and, being gifted wonderful food and drink creations for doing it! Haha! Disc golf, friends, foods, cultures...this isn't beyond disc golf; this is what disc golf is and should be! Thanks, Simon.You're like a disc golf gypsy, and, I'm really enjoying this!

This series has been awesome! Personally Id love to see a Behind the Scenes or some type of memoir series for Joey Temali! It seems to me like he is always behind the camera at all of these crazy locations and events. Id love to hear some of the stories that he has to tell having been on the road for all these past years!

I really enjoyed watching Simon fishing; it made me feel human and on his level. I cannot relate to his disc golf talent, abilities, or skill.... but I love to fish.

My wife and I got married standing in lake Tahoe. Stayed in zephyr cove camp ground and played zephyr cove disc golf course. Great memories
First time I ever played with Getty, I caught up to him and his buddy at The Wedge in Reno Nevada. He stepped up to the pad and aced hole 8!!! Talk about first impressions.

I enjoyed this video a lot. I grew up in Sacramento and spent hours upon hours in/at Lake Tahoe. Watching Simon fish and appearing outside of his comfort zone is s fresh off breath air, so to speak. It isn't often you'll see him or any other disc golfer in a video not disc golfing. Thanks jomez and Simon for sharing this. ❤️

I know this series is trying to showcase the history of disc golf, but it is losing my interest because I want to see more of Simon's shots on the course! we have only seen one shot per round :(, very good documentary otherwise

lake Tahoe isn't just beautiful, it's pristine. No trash anywhere and even the mountains are landscaped. I'll have to get back there someday.
I’ve lived in NorCal for 26 years and every time I make the turn on hwy 50 when you first see South Lake Tahoe (many times a year), I get overwhelmed with pure joy and even get teary eyed most of the time. It’s hands down one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.

I played Zephyr Cove when in Tahoe this past July (2022). Was the ONLY person on the course for the entire 18, and it was near sunset. Incredible experience and can't wait to go back someday.

Wow, freshly fished trout from lake Tahoe... I'm super-jealous. I was up at lake Tahoe a few years back but during the winter for snowboarding but I really have to go there during the summer. It looks magnificent. p.s. Bijou also means jewel in French, doesn't it? And that's what they call Tahoe, the jewel of the Sierras. Oh, and NorCal people are really cool and very friendly.

I am from Wisconsin, and I have been vacationing at Zephyr Point my whole life. Tahoe holds a special place in my heart, and it is simply amazing to see Simon enjoying the nature and amazing disc golf in the area! I cannot wait to go back there next summer and play these amazing courses again!
